1. Can you introduce yourself and tell us a little about your background?
My name is Emilija Rukuižaitė, and I am 21 years old. I am originally from Lithuania, but I am currently building my independent life in Germany. Since I was young, I have been very active, and one of my most notable experiences was participating in avant-garde fashion shows with a school creative group. As a fashion model, I showcased unique, handmade clothing designs, toured different schools across various cities, and our team won several 1st–3rd places along with prestigious Grand Prix awards. This early experience in the fashion world taught me confidence, runway walking, and a deep love for aesthetics. Today, I channel my energy into a healthy lifestyle and actively train at the gym, as movement is my ultimate driving force.
2. How do you describe your personal style and fashion preferences?
For me, style is a way to express my inner self, which is why I always love to feel stylish and confident. My heart belongs to elegance – I adore classic garments that highlight femininity and make me shine. At the same time, I highly appreciate minimalism and simplicity, so I feel amazing combining modern comfort with subtle luxury.
3. What is one personal quality you think sets you apart from other contestants?
I believe my greatest strength is the ability to maintain genuine sincerity while possessing unbreakable determination. I always aim for the highest goals and never give up easily. Additionally, I am a great listener who truly understands people. In an international competition full of rivalry, my ability to stay empathetic and grounded is my biggest advantage.
4. How do you define confidence and how do you maintain it?
To me, confidence is not about shouting loudly about your success – it is about inner peace and knowing who you are. I maintain it through sports, which strengthen both my body and mind. I am also deeply inspired by the supportive people around me. When you know your worth and work hard on yourself, no external opinion can shake you.
5. What does representing your country mean to you?
Representing Lithuania is a huge honor and a major personal achievement for me. Even though I am young and currently living abroad, I always carry my Lithuanian identity in my heart. In this competition, I want to show that Lithuanian women are not only visually beautiful, but also independent, strong, and brave enough to chase their dreams across Europe and the world.
6. How do you hope participating in Miss Europe Continental will impact your future?
I see this competition as a wonderful opportunity for both personal and professional growth. First and foremost, it is a chance to prove to myself that I belong on an international stage. I also hope that this experience will open doors to new opportunities, valuable connections, and lessons that will help shape my future. Most importantly, I want to inspire young girls from small towns to believe that their background does not limit their potential. With determination, courage, and a willingness to work hard, you can achieve goals that once seemed far out of reach. For me, this competition is not just an experience – it is the beginning of a new and much bigger chapter in my life
