Adriana Amstutz at Miss Europe Continental

Adriana Amstutz will represent Switzerland in the 12th edition of Miss Europe Continental. Here is her first interview, enjoy!

Hello dear readers, my name is Adriana Amstutz. I’ll be 24 this year. I’m half Bulgarian, a quarter Swiss German and a quarter German. I was born and currently live in Switzerland. I’m lucky enough to be able to represent this beautiful country next year at Miss Europe Continental 2025 contest. Ever since I was a child, I’ve always felt that I was destined for something great, and all my life I’ve refused to settle for anything less. One of my goals is to be a source of inspiration and motivation, whatever the field. I want people to be able to say to themselves “if she can do it, so can I”. I want to show that you have to dare to step out of your comfort zone, believe in yourself and do what you love most. I’m currently doing a bachelor’s degree at the University of Fribourg in psychology-pedagogy and art history. My path to university has been a bit winding, as before that I did three years of psychology before being forced to change. Outside my student life, I have a lot of hobbies.

I’m a very versatile person, so my hobbies range from modeling, to dancing, to DJing, to drawing mandalas for hours on end. Another hobby – I don’t know if I can call it a hobby because it’s so random – is that I love assembling furniture!  And we can also add to the list that I’m very good at lighting barbecues. I like to try everything around me. What I love about the fashion world is that it’s always on the move and increasingly open to everyone. I could talk about this for hours, because I’ve always been fascinated by this world, the catwalks, the red carpets and so on. What’s more, I’ve loved posing and being in front of the camera since I was 2 years old, so I’ve always felt very comfortable.

Thanks to Miss Europe Continental, I’ll have the chance to do just that. It’s a real honor for me to be able to take part and I’ll never be grateful enough for that.I hope that this competition will help me propel myself even further into the fashion world than I have been before. In a few years, I see myself having succeeded in being where I want to be, having been able to build my own community, with whom I’ll share my adventures. I see myself where, when I was a child, I used to say to myself “one day you’ll be like that”. What’s certain is that I see myself more fulfilled than ever, and being able to be a figure on whom people can take their example and ask for advice without any fear.
