1. Joining the official Fashion Designers Team of Miss Europe Continental is a significant professional achievement. What was your first reaction when you received this opportunity?
Being selected to join the official Fashion Designers Team of Miss Europe Continental is an important step in my professional journey. The opportunity to present my work as part of an international beauty competition, alongside women from different countries and cultures, gives this experience a special significance for me as a designer.
When I received the invitation to join the Fashion Designers Team, I was genuinely surprised. I hadn’t expected to be selected and, at first, I could hardly believe that the opportunity was real. Once that initial surprise settled in, I began to understand what this experience could represent for me as a designer: the opportunity to be part of an international beauty competition and to present my creative vision in a context that brings together fashion, beauty and different expressions of femininity.
Every step of my journey has been built through perseverance and a constant commitment to learning and improving my craft. I have always believed that talent alone is not enough, which is why I continuously invest in my education, seeking advanced training and learning from professionals at the highest level. For me, becoming a better designer is an ongoing process—one that requires dedication, discipline and the determination to keep evolving.
2. If you had to describe your style in three words, which would you choose and why?
Elegance. Identity. Emotion.
Emotion is where my creative process begins. I am passionate about art in all its forms, and I often find inspiration in the emotions that a colour, a shape, a memory or even a small detail can evoke. For me, a creation should not only be seen; it should also make you feel something.
Craftsmanship represents the way I bring that emotion to life. I pay great attention to details, from the choice of materials and the balance of proportions to the construction and finishing of each piece. Quality is essential to me, because I believe that true elegance is often found in the details.
Femininity is perhaps the most personal element of my work. I don’t believe there is only one way to express it. Every woman has her own personality, attitude and way of feeling beautiful. Through my creations, I try to interpret that femininity individually, creating pieces that complement the woman who wears them rather than define her.
3. What is the most unusual source of inspiration that has influenced one of your creations?
Very often, my inspiration begins with the fabric itself. Every material has its own character, and sometimes the moment I see a particular texture, embroidery or pattern, I can already imagine the finished piece.
I am fascinated by the details within a fabric—the way an embroidery flows, the way a pattern is designed, the texture, the structure or the way the material moves. These elements often give me an immediate vision of the silhouette, the proportions and the overall character of the creation.
For me, choosing a fabric is therefore not simply a technical step that comes after the design. Sometimes, the fabric is the beginning of the design. It can suggest the entire direction of a piece and allow me to see, almost instinctively, what it could become.
4. Is there a garment or collection that you consider the true expression of your creative identity?
Among all my creations, Cinderella’s Dream, presented during City Fashion Week 2024 – Cluj, Romania, is probably the one that reflects me the most.
It was born from a feeling that many girls experience while growing up: the dream of becoming Cinderella, if only for a moment—to feel like a princess. I wanted to capture that emotion and reinterpret it through fashion, creating something elegant, contemporary and timeless.
This collection also reflects the way I approach every creative project. I never begin with a garment or even a sketch. I begin with an emotion, allowing it to evolve naturally into an idea, and finally into a creation. I don’t define myself through a specific category of fashion, but through the emotions and ideas behind each piece.
Whether I design couture, tailoring or another expression of fashion, my purpose remains the same: to create pieces that are authentic, timeless and unique.
5. What message do you hope to communicate through your designs?
I hope people see fashion as something far greater than clothing. For me, it is a language capable of expressing feelings without words.
My creations are not intended to transform someone into a different person, but to highlight what already exists within them: elegance, confidence and individuality.
This is something I have also experienced through my participation in several Atipic Beauty events, where I had the opportunity to dress and support women who use wheelchairs. These experiences reinforced my belief that femininity, beauty and confidence belong to every woman and cannot be defined by conventional standards.
I enjoy creating pieces with their own identity and a clear purpose. Rather than repeating the same designs, I prefer to explore new ideas, allowing each creation to remain unique.
If someone feels more authentic, more confident and more like themselves while wearing one of my creations, then I know it has fulfilled its purpose.
6. How do you think this international experience can contribute to your professional growth?
Fashion has always evolved through dialogue between cultures, perspectives and creative visions.
Taking part in an international beauty competition such as Miss Europe Continental is a very special opportunity for me, both personally and professionally. It is a privilege and an exciting experience to have the chance to collaborate with international models and to see my creations presented by women coming from different countries, cultures and backgrounds.
I believe this kind of experience can offer a designer a new perspective. The same creation can acquire a different presence depending on the woman who wears it—her personality, her attitude and the way she expresses her femininity. Working in such an international environment gives me the opportunity to observe these differences, exchange ideas and learn from other perspectives.
For me, this experience is also another step in my professional development. It gives me the chance to present my work in an international context, while continuing to learn, evolve and discover new creative directions. I hope to return from this experience not only with beautiful memories, but also with new inspiration, valuable connections and an even broader vision of fashion.
