THE POWER OF BELIEVING IN YOURSELF: KATHARINA’S STORY

  1. Hello! Tell us a little about yourself.

My name is Katharina. I’m 22, originally from Germany, and today I live in Cyprus, where I work as an entrepreneur and content creator while traveling frequently. I left home young to build a life of independence, and I’ve learned that strength and femininity belong together, both have shaped the woman I am becoming.

    2. How would you describe yourself in three words?

    Ambitious, independent, resilient.

    3. What does participating in Miss Europe Continental mean to you?

For me it’s more than a competition; it’s a stage to show that grace and strength are not opposites. I want to represent modern, self-made femininity and encourage young women, especially those starting without a safety net, to believe in themselves and follow their own path with determination.

    4. What is your biggest dream?
True freedom: to live life on my own terms, in the cities I love, and to inspire other women to build a life of their own design. A life that feels as beautiful on the inside as it looks on the outside.

    5. What are your passions?

Traveling, creating, entrepreneurship, and personal growth. I love discovering new places and cultures, and turning ideas into something real and lasting.

    6. What is your greatest strength?

My resilience. No matter how many times I’ve had to start over, I always rise again. My motto is: “I did it once. I’ll do it again.”

    7. And what is one of your weaknesses?

I can be impatient. When I have a goal in mind, I want to reach it immediately. I’ve had to learn to channel that energy in a healthier, more graceful way.

    8. Who inspires you in life?

Women who have built something from the ground up without losing their values or their elegance. They remind me that where you come from doesn’t have to define where you end up.

    9. What is the most important value in your life?

Loyalty. For me, it matters to stand by the people and the principles I believe in, no matter what.

    10. What have you learned so far from your journey?

That setbacks aren’t the end, they’re part of the process. Every time I’ve fallen, I’ve come back stronger and wiser. Real beauty and real success are built on what you do after things don’t go as planned.

    11. What message would you like to share with young people who follow you?

Don’t wait for the perfect moment or for someone’s permission. Start where you are, with what you have, and keep going even when it’s hard. Your background doesn’t limit your future but your mindset and your courage do.

    12. A message for the readers of Miss Europe Continental?

Thank you for following my journey. I hope my story reminds you that it’s never too late, and you’re never too “ordinary,” to build an extraordinary life. Believe in yourself and then do the work to prove yourself right
