‘’Hello, my name is Amelie Rittger, and I am proud to represent Austria at Miss Europe Continental. Austria is known for its breathtaking landscapes, rich culture, and warm-hearted people.
In my free time, I enjoy modeling, working as a Disney princess at children’s birthday parties, and staying active through sports. My passion for children and sports extends beyond my hobbies into my professional life, as I am currently studying to become a teacher specializing in Physical Education, German, and Special Needs Education.
In the future, I aspire to be more than just a representative. I want to support projects that empower women and encourage young people to believe in themselves. I envision my future not only on stage but also in places where I can create meaningful and lasting change.
How has this experience changed your perception of yourself as a woman?
This experience has profoundly changed the way I see myself as a woman. It has taught me that being a woman is about so much more than physical appearance. It is about strength, self-confidence, authenticity, and the ability to inspire others in a positive way.
Having the honor of representing Austria at Miss Europe Continental has encouraged me to step beyond my comfort zone, believe in myself, and embrace my individuality with pride. Today, I see myself as a confident woman who uses her voice to stand up for her values and to encourage others to follow their own path with courage and determination.
We see the glamour on stage, but what is the most challenging emotion you’ve had to deal with behind the scenes?
Behind the glamour that people see, there are moments when the world becomes quiet and all I can hear is my own inner voice.
The biggest challenge for me was dealing with the fact that naturally, I sometimes feel fear. But that is exactly where growth begins. I have learned not to see these moments as enemies, but as valuable lessons. They remind me that strength does not mean being fearless; it means having the courage to shine despite my fears.
Many girls dream of being where you are right now. What is the reality of this experience compared to the dream?
I know that many girls dream of being where I am today, and I am incredibly grateful for that.
Many people see the sparkling lights, the applause, and the unforgettable moments that seem to make the world stand still. However, that is only one side of the experience. The reality behind the dream includes discipline, long days, self-reflection, resilience, and the determination to continually challenge yourself and never give up.
How do you find balance and stay grounded amidst the pressure of an international competition?
I stay balanced by staying connected to the things that truly define me: my values, my roots, and the people who have shaped me.
Sports help me clear my mind, and working with children reminds me of what truly matters in life. I constantly remind myself that a competition is not about perfection, but about character, purpose, and heart.
When I focus on my mission of encouraging young people and empowering women, pressure turns into gratitude. That perspective helps me stay grounded, focused, and true to myself.
How do you want to be remembered by the people you’ve met during this pageant?
I want to be remembered as a woman who is not only beautiful on the outside but also kind, honest, and inspiring.
Kindness and good character are values that mean a great deal to me. I hope people will say, “She is not only beautiful, but she also has a beautiful heart.”
After all, true beauty comes from within!

Wearing this sash means living a dream that a little girl once had.That little girl was me.
Life has not always been easy, but I never gave up on my dream.
Today, I am proud to say that I made it a reality.
I wear this sash with immense pride, and I am grateful to Miss Europe Continental, my family, and also to myself for believing in my dreams and making them come true.’’
