Hello everyone, my name is Aaliyah Brönnimann, and I am from Switzerland with Italian roots. Besides modeling and pageantry, I currently work in finance, which taught me discipline, independence, and responsibility from a young age. I love fashion, traveling, meeting new people, and expressing creativity through photography and runway work.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, creating content, and continuously improving myself both personally and professionally. For the future, I would love to grow internationally in the fashion and beauty industry, work with inspiring brands, and continue using my platform to motivate young women to believe in themselves and follow their dreams.
– How has this experience changed your perception of yourself as a woman?
This experience helped me discover a stronger and more confident version of myself. I learned that being a woman is not only about beauty or appearance, but also about resilience, elegance, kindness, and inner strength. Competing internationally showed me how powerful women can be when they support and inspire each other instead of competing with negativity.
It also taught me to trust myself more, to step outside my comfort zone, and to appreciate my individuality. Today, I feel more mature, empowered, and proud of the woman I am becoming.
– We see the glamour on stage, but what is the most challenging emotion you’ve had to deal with behind the scenes?
Behind the glamour, one of the most challenging emotions has been self-doubt. In an environment where everyone is talented and beautiful, it is easy to compare yourself to others. There are moments of pressure, stress, and emotional exhaustion that people usually do not see.
However, I learned that confidence comes from within and that every woman has her own unique beauty and story. The experience taught me how important mental strength and self-love truly are.
– Many girls dream of being where you are right now. What is the reality of this experience versus the dream?
The dream is beautiful, but the reality also requires a lot of hard work, discipline, sacrifices, and emotional strength. People often only see the dresses, photos, and glamour, but behind all of that are long days, pressure, preparation, and responsibility.
At the same time, the reality is also incredibly rewarding because you grow so much as a person. You meet inspiring people from different cultures, create unforgettable memories, and learn lessons that stay with you forever. It is not just about beauty — it is about growth, confidence, and representing something bigger than yourself.
– How do you find balance and stay grounded amidst the pressure of an international competition?
I stay grounded by reminding myself who I am outside of the competition. My family, friends, and my normal daily life keep me connected to reality and help me stay balanced. I also believe it is very important to take care of your mental health, rest when needed, and not lose yourself in the pressure.
For me, balance comes from gratitude. I try to enjoy every moment of this journey while staying humble and authentic.
– How do you want to be remembered by the people you’ve met during this pageant?
I hope people remember me as someone genuine, kind, positive, and supportive. Of course, beauty and elegance are important in pageantry, but I believe the energy and kindness you give to others leave the strongest impression.
I want people to remember me as a woman who stayed true to herself, worked hard, and always treated others with respect and warmth.
Wearing this sash is not a burden; it is my greatest honor. Can you explain your feelings?
For me, wearing this sash means much more than simply representing a title or a country. It represents my journey, my growth, and all the emotions, sacrifices, and dreams that brought me here. Every time I wear it, I feel proud, grateful, and deeply honored to be part of something that inspires women to believe in themselves.
This experience taught me that true beauty is not only about appearance, but also about strength, kindness, discipline, and the ability to inspire others. The sash reminds me to always stay authentic and to carry myself with elegance and respect.
It is not a burden because I wear it with love and passion. It motivates me to become the best version of myself and to leave a positive impact on the people I meet along this journey
