Namaste! I am Rashmita Chitre, Miss Europe Continental India 2025, hailing from the vibrant city of Mumbai, where dreams are made and passions ignite. I’m 19 years old and currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences. I stepped onto the stage for the first time at the age of two, and since then, I’ve come alive in the arms of creativity.
With over 13 years of experience as a professional dancer, I’ve mastered more than 10 dance forms and won two International Dance Championships at India’s International Groove Fest, held in Dubai (2018) and Thailand (2019).
My journey into modelling wasn’t just a coincidence – it was a dream my mom passed down to me! She always dreamed big, and though she couldn’t chase her own spotlight, she saw the potential in me. With her unwavering support, I stepped into modelling to make her proud and show her she raised a QUEEN!
My advocacy is to celebrate India’s diversity and vibrancy, inspiring everyone to embrace their unique stories and recognize their potential. I’m here to uplift others and create a world where everyone feels empowered to pursue their passions and live their truth.
Through my platform, ‘Empowerment Through Arts,’ I aim to inspire young Indians to find their voice.

How would you describe yourself as a person with three adjectives?
Tenacious – Persistent and determined, refusing to give up.

You’re a model and beauty queen — can you tell us how your journey in this world began? What inspired you?
My journey into modelling wasn’t just a coincidence – it was inspired by my mother, who’s always had big dreams of making a mark in the world. She envisioned a platform where she could be recognized globally, and though she couldn’t pursue it herself, she saw potential in me. She ignited a spark within me, and I began modelling to make her proud. Today, as I stand here, crowned Miss Europe Continental India 2025, I feel like I’m living her dream, and it’s an indescribable feeling.
As I reflect on my journey, I’m reminded that my mother’s influence extends far beyond just inspiring me to model. She is my rock, my guiding light. Her unwavering support and encouragement have been my driving force. She’s the reason I push boundaries and strive for excellence.
Among your many glamorous photoshoots and appearances, is there a specific project or event you’re particularly proud of?
One project that holds a special place in my heart is when I had the opportunity to shoot for TYAANI, the renowned jewellery brand founded by Karan Johar. As a Bollywood enthusiast and a girl from Mumbai, it was truly surreal to collaborate with a legend like him. Growing up watching his films, I never imagined I’d get to work with his brand. The experience was nothing short of a dream come true. It’s a moment I’ll cherish forever.
I’m super proud of this project because it represents the culmination of my hard work and passion. Collaborating with TYAANI, a brand that resonates with elegance and sophistication, was a defining moment in my career. The opportunity to work with Karan Johar, someone I’ve admired for years, added an extra layer of significance. Seeing the final result, knowing that I was a part of it, fills me with pride and motivates me to continue striving for excellence.
What has been the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far in your modeling journey — and how did you overcome it?
One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced in my modelling journey is dealing with constant comparisons and negative words from loved ones. They made me doubt myself, but I’ve learned to overcome it by focusing on my own growth and surrounding myself with positivity. I’ve realized that everyone’s journey is unique, and comparisons only hold me back.
Through this experience, I’ve learned to trust myself, believe in my abilities, and celebrate my progress. I’ve prioritized self-care, surrounded myself with supportive people, and learned to be kind to myself. Setbacks are a part of the journey, but it’s how we respond to them that matters – I’ve learned to use them as opportunities to learn and grow.
Is there a moment in your life that has particularly marked you?
One moment that has particularly marked me is when I underwent wrist surgery due to a dance accident. I fell from a height of about 1st floor while doing a stunt for a dance championship, which resulted in severe injury. I had to undergo 29 stitches and have a screw near my wrist just for my hand to function properly. I faced a lot of pain and wasn’t able to dance with all my heart out. But eventually, surgery couldn’t stop me from dancing and representing India on an international level. Yes, I obviously danced, competed, and also won the Dance Championship held in Dubai – with a fractured wrist. This experience was a defining moment for me, as it taught me the true meaning of perseverance and determination. Despite the physical pain and emotional setbacks, I refused to let my passion for dance fade away. Instead, I used it as fuel to push myself harder and prove to myself that I could overcome any obstacle. Winning the championship with a fractured wrist was not just a victory for me, but a testament to the power of believing in oneself. It has left an indelible mark on me, reminding me that with unwavering dedication and faith in my abilities, I can conquer any challenge that comes my way.
In your opinion, what qualities define a true beauty queen — beyond outer beauty?
For me, a true beauty queen is more than just a pretty face! She’s a powerhouse of confidence, intelligence, empathy, resilience, authenticity, passion, kindness, and poise. She’s unapologetically herself, speaks her mind with conviction, and radiates positivity wherever she goes. Her inner beauty shines brighter than any crown, and she owns it with every step, word, and smile!
What advice would you give to future contestants of Miss Europe Continental who dream of standing where you are today?
To future contestants of Miss Europe Continental, I’d say:
Own your story, own your power, Own your crown! You’re the leader of your life, and your voice matters. I believed in myself, and that’s why I’m standing here today. Don’t try to fit into someone else’s idea of beauty; create your own definition. Focus on building confidence, not just physical appearance. Remember, your uniqueness is your strength, and your story is worth telling. Own it, live it, and let your authenticity inspire others.
Remember, this title is not just a crown; it’s a platform. Use it to amplify your voice, inspire others, and make a positive impact. Surround yourself with people who uplift and support you, and never be afraid to take risks and step out of your comfort zone.
