From Guatemala to the World: Tania N Blanco at Miss Europe Continental

1. You are on the official team of Fashion Designers of Miss Europe Continental Edition How does it feel to be part of such a dynamic and established international team?

Being part of the Miss Europe Continental Edition 12 design team feels surreal. It’s an amazing honor to stand beside so many talented and passionate creatives from around the world. Every designer brings something special, and it’s beautiful to see how our shared love for fashion connects us all. As a proud Guatemalan-American, I feel blessed to represent both of my cultures on such a global stage. This moment reminds me why I fell in love with fashion in the first place. It’s about expression, unity, and pride in where you come from

2. Tell us about your Creativity and Passion:

What do you draw the most inspiration for your creations?

I draw most of my inspiration from the world around me. The architecture of buildings, the structure of a diamond, the curves of nature, and the delicate beauty of flowers. I’m fascinated by how design and form can express strength and elegance at the same time. The woman I design for embodies that same spirit; she’s strong, confident, and independent. When she wears my creations, I want her to feel her most authentic and pure self, shining effortlessly from the inside out.

3. Tell us about your future

My future plans are deeply connected to both my passion for fashion and my purpose to give back. I want to grow my company so I can expand my child’s dental foundation, Operación Sonrisa, a Guatemala-based initiative helping underprivileged children receive the dental care they otherwise wouldn’t have access to. I’ve always admired how Oscar de la Renta used his success to uplift others, and I hope to follow a similar path — using my brand to create beauty with impact. Ultimately, I dream of taking my designs to the global stage, inspiring others around the world. As a young girl from Guatemala, this has always been my dream, and I want to show that anything is possible if you believe in yourself and never give up.

4. What advice would you give to an aspiring fashion designer who dreams of pursuing this career?

My advice to aspiring fashion designers is to network as much as you can, the people you meet can open incredible doors. Stay inspired by everything around you, from art and culture to nature and everyday life. And most importantly, never give up. The journey isn’t always easy, but if you stay dedicated, passionate, and true to yourself, it will all be worth it in the end.

5. What do you expect from this experience at Miss Europe Continental?

I expect to learn so much from this incredible experience. It’s my first time showing my work on an international stage, and I’m excited to absorb all the knowledge and inspiration that comes with it. I hope this opportunity helps me grow both creatively and professionally as a designer. Most of all, I look forward to connecting with other talented artists and sharing our passion for fashion on a global level.
