- You are on the official team of Fashion Designers of Miss Europe Continental Edition 12. How does it feel to be part of such a dynamic and established international team?
It is a great honor to be selected and welcomed at Miss Europe Continental as an official Designer for the 12th edition. For the finale, where incredibly beautiful women from different countries around the world gather on the international stage to compete in this prestigious beauty contest, I am proud to present the creation of Tamara Von Arx. I design and make luxury dresses that are elaborate, refined, and meticulously detailed. Only the finest fabrics and exclusive materials are used for this important event at Miss Europe Continental, where beauty, feminine charme and elegance are celebrated on an international scale.
a. Tell us about your Creativity and Passion:
b. What do you draw the most inspiration for your creations from?
My dresses are inspired by the mesmerizing beauty that surrounds us. I am constantly fascinated by the elements I encounter in the world – details that spark my imagination and naturally transform into shapes, textures, and features within my designs. One of my greatest inspirations is the butterfly with its beautiful wings, fluid movements and enchanting elegance. With great love and intention I translate these qualities into the silhouettes, structures and intricate details of my dresses which are meant to be an elegant expression of joy of true craftsmanship. The dresses are made to last and made to be loved.
2. How would you describe the woman you draw for?
The Tamara Von Arx dress is designed for the sophisticated woman who embraces her natural, authentic self and who stands out without ever compromising comfort. Women often tell me that wearing a Tamara Von Arx dress makes them feel seen in the best possible way: more beautiful, more confident, and effortlessly radiant.
- Tell us about your future plans.
My creations have graced red carpets in New York, London, Italy and Switzerland. My brand’s aim is to continue making a presence on red carpets, showcasing at further prestigious events in the future. I also plan to present in the future at major fashion events where new collections reach an international audience and global press, celebrating the brand’s refined craftsmanship and distinctive aesthetic.
- What advice would you give to an aspiring fashion designer who dreams of pursuing this career?
My advice to aspiring fashion designers is simple: stay true to your vision and never lose sight of who you are. Gain as much industry experience as you can while studying. It makes all the difference when you eventually branch out on your own. That’s exactly how I started.
- What do you expect from this experience at Miss Europe Continental?
My expectation is to connect with a global audience on the international stage in Italy and to look forward to collaborate with potentially future show productions, to unveil new dresses appearing on stage and on red carpets.
