Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars

Let’s meet Vanessa Mannisi, MISS EUROPE CONTINENTAL SWITZERLAND 2025

‘’Hi, my name is Vanessa Mannisi. I’m a Law student with a background in the legal field and international organizations. Before returning to university, I worked as a legal assistant and later in an international position, experiences that shaped my sense of discipline, dedication, and global awareness.

I chose to study Law because I have always been deeply passionate about justice, equality, and human dignity. My goal is to build a career that allows me to create a positive impact in society, by combining my legal knowledge with empathy, integrity, and a strong belief in diversity and inclusion.

In my free time, I love to learn, grow, and discover. Whether I’m reading, taking courses, or exploring new cultures and languages, I find joy in everything that expands my mind and heart. I also treasure spending meaningful moments with my loved ones, because I believe that true happiness comes from sharing, connection, and kindness.

If I had to describe myself, I would say that I am determined, loyal, and courageous, yet always guided by softness and compassion. For me, true strength lies in sensitivity, being kind in a world that can sometimes be harsh is a form of courage.

My greatest flaw? I can be too demanding with myself. I set very high standards because I want to give my best in everything I do. But over time, I’ve learned that balance, gratitude, and self-love are also part of true success.

I find my inspiration in women around the world. Every woman who dares to dream, to fight, to rise after falling, inspires me deeply. Whether she’s a mother raising her children with love, a student building her future, or a leader creating change, each of them reflects the beauty of strength, courage, and compassion.

To me, inspiration is not about one person, it’s about the collective power and sisterhood of women who support one another and transform challenges into opportunities.

They remind me that being a woman means being resilient yet gentle, ambitious yet kind, and that our true power shines when we lift each other up and use our voices to bring more justice, equality, and light into this world.

What has marked me the most is not just one personal event, but what is happening in our world today.

In recent years we have witnessed wars, discrimination, and deep divisions affecting millions of innocent people. Seeing this suffering has truly touched my heart and made me reflect on the importance of empathy, peace, and human dignity.

It reminds me how fragile our world can be, and how much we need to stand together, beyond our differences.

As a young woman and a law student, I feel a strong responsibility to use my voice and my education to promote respect, equality, and understanding.

Because I truly believe that even small acts of kindness and solidarity can bring light where darkness exists.

– What is happiness for you?

For me, happiness is balance : the harmony between what we give, what we receive, and what we become.

It’s not about perfection or material success, but about inner peace, gratitude, and the ability to live with kindness and purpose.

I feel truly happy when I grow as a person, when I learn something new, or when I can bring a smile to someone else’s face.

Happiness also means connection with ourselves, with others, and with the world around us.

In the end, happiness is not something we find, it’s something we create every day, through love, empathy, and the courage to stay true to who we are.

– What is the phrase or quote you will never forget? Why?

The quote I will never forget is : “Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.”

This quote reminds me that life is not about perfection, but about courage, the courage to dream, to try, and to rise again.

It teaches me that even when things don’t go as planned, every step, every effort, every failure brings us closer to who we are meant to become.

For me, it’s more than a quote, it’s a way of life.

A reminder to always reach higher, to embrace challenges with grace, and to shine my own light, even in the darkest sky.

It is truly an honor and a privilege to be here at Miss Europe Continental, representing my beloved country.

This experience is not only a celebration of beauty, but also of culture, confidence, and sisterhood among women from all around the world.

I’m sincerely grateful to take part in this journey that encourages personal growth, purpose, and the empowering connection between women.

For me, fashion is art, and art is freedom. It is the freedom to express your soul, to tell your story without words, and to reveal who you truly are.

Fashion is a form of language, a mirror of culture and emotion. It allows us to transform ideas into beauty and confidence into presence.

Through fashion, we celebrate individuality, creativity, and diversity, showing that true elegance comes from authenticity. Fashion, to me, is not just what we wear. It is how we inspire, how we connect, and how we choose to shine in our own unique way.

– How do you see yourself in ten years?

In ten years, I see myself living a life of balance and purpose.

I dream of having a loving family, building a home filled with warmth, values, and happiness, while raising my children to be kind and open-minded.

At the same time, I see myself pursuing a meaningful career that allows me to help others, to stand for justice, and to make a positive impact on people’s lives.

For me, success is not only about achievements, but about finding harmony between the heart and the purpose, between who we love and what we give to the world.

If I could make one wish come true, it would be to see an end to the violence and suffering caused by conflicts around the world.

So many innocent lives are affected every day, and I wish we could finally see a time where dialogue replaces destruction.

More than peace, I wish for understanding and accountability, for leaders and societies to remember the value of every human life, regardless of nationality, gender, or belief.

Because real progress begins when we choose empathy and justice over power and division.’’
