Have you ever faced particular challenges as a Nigerian model in Italy?
Yes, as a Nigerian model abroad, I’ve encountered challenges related to cultural diversity and integration. However, these experiences have made me stronger and more determined. I’ve learned to turn every obstacle into an opportunity to stand out and highlight my uniqueness.
What inspired you to enter the fashion world? Has it always been your dream?Fashion has always been a passion of mine—a way to express my creativity and personality. Since I was a child, I’ve dreamed of walking runways, embodying elegance and style, and communicating emotions through images and clothing. Every step I take in the fashion world brings me closer to my dream of leaving an authentic and lasting mark.
If you could collaborate with any designer or brand in the world, who would you choose and why?
I would love to collaborate with Dior because the brand combines timeless elegance with innovation. I admire how every collection tells a story and celebrates femininity—qualities that reflect my own vision as a model.
Are there any models or fashion icons you look up to? Who are your role models in the industry?
Among my inspirations are Iman and Naomi Campbell—extraordinary women who revolutionized the fashion world with their talent, strength, and determination. I’m also inspired by contemporary models who combine professionalism and authenticity, showing that fashion is also a powerful tool for empowerment.
What does representing Nigeria in an international competition mean to you?
Representing Nigeria is an immense honor. It means showcasing the beauty, culture, and values of my country on an international stage—showing the world our authenticity and talent. It’s an opportunity to be an ambassador for my homeland and inspire the next generations.
How do you feel when you think about the moment you’ll be on stage? Excited, nervous, energized?
I feel a mix of emotions: excitement, adrenaline, and a great positive energy. It’s a moment I’ve dreamed of and prepared for with dedication, and I can’t wait to live every second on stage, giving my best with grace and confidence.
What is your personal goal in participating in this competition? To win, gain recognition, gain experience…?
My main goal is to grow as a model and as a person—to gain experience and learn from every challenge. Winning would be an honor, but for me, every step of this journey is an opportunity for visibility, networking, and professional growth. I want to live this experience to the fullest, with passion and determination.
