LET’S MEET CELESTE, MISS EUROPE CONTINENTAL SOUTH KOREA 2025

Hello to everyone! Below the interview ouf our stunning Miss South Korea 2025:

‘’Could you introduce yourself briefly — your name, the country you represent, what you do in life, and how you like to spend your free time?

My name is Celeste, and I come from South Korea, though I currently reside in the United Arab Emirates. I’ve recently started working as a model, which has been an exciting new chapter in my life.

Outside of modeling, I try to make a conscious effort to take care of both my body and mind. I spend time at the gym or doing pilates to stay active and balanced, and I enjoy cooking because it feels like a way of treating myself with care. Lately, I’ve come to value my personal space and time more, which has also led me to enjoy reading as a way to slow down and clear my mind.

I also enjoy playing golf, a passion that my whole family shares, and it’s something that brings us even closer together. I enjoy meeting new and interesting people and discovering the world through different cultures and perspectives. It always gives me positive energy and new ways to see life. That’s why I’m truly looking forward to this experience, where people from all over the world come together. I’m excited to share experiences, build meaningful connections, and grow through the diversity that surrounds us.

Most of all, I hope to represent South Korea with authenticity, warmth, and confidence throughout this journey.

  1. Celeste, you’re stepping into the fashion world with a strong sense of identity and elegance. What first drew you toward modeling, and what inspires your journey today?

I was introduced to modeling through natural encounters and a stroke of luck. I never imagined myself being in the position I’m in today — everything happened so quickly, and I truly cherish the curiosity that led me here. I try to observe, learn, and grow from people with more experience, and I always put myself in situations where I can help and contribute as much as possible.

What inspires me now is the endless room for growth in this industry — every experience, every shoot, every encounter teaches me something new. I’m excited to look back one day and see how much I’ve grown, both as a person and as a model.

  1. Representing South Korea while living in Dubai must give you a unique mix of cultures. How do you keep your Korean roots alive while embracing such a cosmopolitan lifestyle?

The UAE is a true melting pot of people and cultures. Most people who move here bring with them aspects of their culture and lifestyle that they’ve always valued back home. I often feel excited to share the things I love about my homeland and to learn about the world through my everyday encounters. There are also many Koreans living and working in the country across various fields, so you can always get a small taste of home, especially with Korean restaurants popping up everywhere.

  1. You’re currently building your portfolio and image as a model. How do you approach creating a visual style that feels authentic and professional at the same time?

My priority always starts with understanding the concept, mood, and expectations of the brands I work with. I like to study different ideas and poses on my own, often practicing by taking photos and videos to see what feels natural. Since I’m still new in the field, I truly enjoy the process of experimenting and finding what works best for me.

Preparation is something I really value — it allows me to walk into a shoot feeling confident and ready for anything that comes my way. I also take feedback very seriously and always try to build upon suggestions that resonate with my personal sense of expression.

  1. Social media is becoming an important part of the modeling industry. What kind of story or emotion do you want to share through your online presence?

I use social media not only to build my portfolio but also to share a more personal side of my life. I like showing both the professional and everyday moments, so people can see the real effort I put into being authentic — both on and off the set. Even though my modeling account is still new, I already feel incredibly grateful for the people who support and encourage me along this journey.

  1. Every model brings something personal to the camera. How does your background and personality influence the way you pose, express yourself, and connect during a shoot?

My confidence comes from the preparation before each shoot and the rhythm I maintain in my daily life. I believe confidence is an energy that people can sense right away, so I keep working on it to adapt and perform well in different settings.

During a shoot, I always remind myself that everyone involved should feel proud and satisfied with the work we create together. I enjoy listening and communicating with the team to build harmony on set, because I believe that positive energy naturally leads to better results. I do my best to be a source of encouragement and good energy, helping create an environment where everyone feels inspired.

  1. As you explore different paths in modeling, which areas — such as editorial, runway, or commercial work — attract you the most, and why?

So far, I’ve done editorial and commercial work only, and this will be my first time stepping into the world of runway modeling.

In editorial modeling, I often find myself adapting to the photographer’s direction and the overall concept of the shoot. Each project allows me to see new sides of myself through that process — how I can fit into different stories while still staying true to who I am. I love how much creativity and collaboration go into it; every shoot feels like a small discovery of my own expression.

When it comes to commercial work, I love being part of a brand’s story — helping it grow and connect with people in a genuine way feels truly rewarding. I enjoy learning about the roots and values behind each brand, and finding an identity I can relate to. It’s like being part of a community where everyone is working toward something together.

I’m sure I’ll eventually develop a preference for a certain type of work, but right now, I enjoy exploring all fields of modeling, as each experience helps me discover more sides of my image and expression.

  1. Modeling is not only about beauty but also about emotion and storytelling. How are you learning to convey mood, energy, and movement in front of the lens?

For me, modeling is about understanding the mood and translating it into emotion. Before each shoot, I try to absorb the story and the energy of the concept, so that what I express in front of the camera feels honest rather than performed.

On set, I stay aware of the people I’m working with — the photographer, stylists, makeup artists, everyone involved. I interact, listen, and match their rhythm, because when the team feels connected, that energy always reflects in the final result. I believe that good teamwork naturally brings out the best emotions, and I try to be someone who helps create that harmony.

  1. Working in fashion requires consistency and mindset. What personal habits or disciplines help you stay confident and focused as you grow in this industry?

As simple as it may sound, I put a lot of emphasis on my workouts. I genuinely love food, so staying consistent with exercise helps me feel balanced and ready for work. In modeling, it’s important to maintain a sense of continuity and presence, so that I can represent the mood and style envisioned by a brand.

Beyond the physical aspect, working out gives me time to reflect and clear my thoughts. It’s my way of resetting — it helps me stay balanced, refreshed, and in tune with myself. That’s why I keep it as a steady part of my life.

  1. You’ve had the chance to collaborate with talented photographers, stylists, and makeup artists. What do you enjoy most about those creative moments on set?

I feel very honored and grateful that so many talented people have recognized my potential and helped me grow my portfolio.

What I enjoy most about being on set is the shared sense of accomplishment that comes from working together. There’s a moment when everything just clicks — the mood, the movement, the light — when everything comes together in perfect harmony.

It reminds me that modeling isn’t just about me in front of the camera, but about what collaboration can create.

  1. Through your presence at Miss Europe Continental, what do you hope the world will discover about Korean culture and your personal interpretation of beauty?

In Korea, we have a word called Jeong (정) — it’s something that can’t be fully translated.
It describes a deep sense of emotional connection with the people around you.
Whether you see eye to eye or not, agree or disagree, love or hate — there’s always this unspoken bond that ties people together, and Jeong represents the respect we hold for that feeling.
It’s a blend of kindness, sympathy, and quiet affection, and I believe that spirit is a big part of Korean beauty.

Korean people often find beauty in restraint and balance, which creates a different kind of elegance — calm yet expressive.
With so many cultures coming together at this event, I feel truly honored and proud to represent Korea.
I hope to show that Korean culture is about finding harmony between respect and openness.

  1. Between castings, shoots, and travel, life can get busy. Do you have any rituals or routines that help you stay balanced and grounded?

I feel most fulfilled when I know I’ve given my all. The satisfaction that comes from a job well done feels truly priceless to me.

Lately, I’ve learned to listen to my mind and body more closely, which has led me to appreciate quiet moments alone.

Sitting at a café, reading a book, and simply letting myself recharge feels very healing — it helps me reflect on what I’ve been through and stay grounded.

  1. Finally, what message would you like to share with young women in Korea — or anywhere — who dream of stepping into the fashion world and expressing their individuality?

As I’ve grown older and looked around me, I’ve realized how many beautiful and inspiring women there are.
I never imagined myself being in the position I am in today.
This opportunity came to me in a very unexpected way, but I believe it happened because I learned to appreciate what I have and kept working on it.
Of course, luck plays a part — but the more you invest in yourself, the luckier you become.
I hope to inspire other girls to discover their own kind of beauty and cherish it wholeheartedly.

– A final message to your readers

Attending Miss Europe Continental is a truly humbling and meaningful experience for me.

I’m honored to represent Korea and I’ll do my best to make the most of this opportunity — not only for myself, but as part of something that celebrates women coming together from around the world.

I hope that through this journey, we can all share our stories, inspire one another, and create something truly memorable together.’’
