Hanna Yuzvenka and her world : let’s meet our Miss Belarus

‘’My name is Hanna Yuzvenka. It is a great honor to represent my home country – the Republic of Belarus, a nation with a rich cultural heritage and warm-hearted people. At the moment I’m a law student. When I am not engaged in my academic or professional pursuits, I make a conscious effort to find balance and clarity in nature. For me, a quiet walk in a pine forest or time spent reading by a lake is more than a pastime; it is an essential practice that restores my focus and shapes my perspective on life.

Welcome Hanna, how does it feels to represent Belarus on the international stage of Miss Europe Continental 2025?

—Thank you! It is an overwhelming feeling of pride and deep responsibility. Belarus is a country with a rich history and a gentle, resilient spirit. To have the opportunity to showcase our culture and the strength of our people on such a prestigious platform is truly a dream come true. I carry the hopes of my nation with immense honor.

You are very young, yet already have experience in national competitions. What motivated you to step into the world of pageants?

– My initial motivation was personal growth. I saw pageants not as a competition of beauty, but as a chance to challenge myself—to improve my public speaking, to build my confidence and to learn the power of poise under pressure. It was a journey to discover my own strength.

If you could describe Belarus in a few images or feelings to an international audience, what would they be?

– I would describe the golden light filtering through the ancient trees. The feeling of peace while standing on the shore of one of our countless, mirror-like lakes. The warmth in the eyes of our people and the intricate, beautiful patterns of our traditional linen embroidery, which tells stories of our heritage.

Studying law requires discipline and precision, while modeling needs creativity and expression — how do you switch between these two worlds?

– I see them not as opposites, but as two sides of the same coin. Law teaches me structure, analytical thinking and how to build a compelling case. Modeling and pageantry are where I apply that structure to creatively express an idea, a feeling, or a story. One fuels the other. When I’m modeling, I use the discipline from my studies. When I’m studying, the creativity from modeling helps me think about legal problems from different perspectives.

Nature seems to be very important to you. How do you balance your time between studies, modeling, and enjoying the outdoors?

– It is my essential anchor. I am a firm believer in the power of scheduling and being present in the moment. When I am studying, I am fully focused. When I have a modeling commitment, I give it my all. And I consciously block out time, even if it’s just an hour, to be in nature. I prefer walking or have a weekend trip to the countryside, is a non-negotiable appointment with myself that keeps me grounded and centered.

Your social media profile is very elegant and curated. How do you use it to express yourself and connect with people?

– I use it as a visual diary of my journey and a reflection of my personal aesthetic. But beyond the curated images, I strive to use my platform to share meaningful moments—the hard work behind the glamour, my love for Belarusian culture and causes I care about. It’s a tool for connection, to inspire and to share a piece of my world with sincerity.

Outside of studies, modeling, and pageantry, what makes you happiest?

– It’s a time spent with my family and close friends. Laughing over a home-cooked meal, having deep conversations or simply enjoying their quiet company—these are the moments that truly fill my soul with joy and remind me of what is most important in life.

Looking ahead, what are your dreams for the future—both in your career and your personal life?

-Professionally, I envision a future where I can contribute to society through my legal background while also immersing myself in the creative world of modeling. Beyond my career, my personal aspirations are simple yet profound: to lead a life rooted in love, perpetual curiosity, and a heartfelt connection to the natural world and its simple pleasures.

Is there a personal quote that guides you in challenging moments?

-Absolutely. The quote that is my compass is: “Go where it’s scary – that’s where you’ll find strength”. It reminds me that growth and magic never happen in the comfort zone. Every meaningful achievement in my life, from entering my first pageant to pursuing law, began with taking that one frightening step into the unknown.

What message would you like to share with young women in Belarus and around the world through this competition?

-My message is that your dreams are valid. Do not be afraid to embrace all facets of who you are—the intellectual, the creative, the strong and the gentle. True beauty is the confidence that comes from knowing your own worth and having the courage to pursue your purpose with kindness and grace.

Let’s leave a message to your readers.

-To everyone who has taken the time to read my story, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I hope my journey inspires you to embrace your own unique path with courage and an open heart. Let’s all strive to make our world a better place, one step at a time.

With love from Belarus.’’
