1. You are part of the official team of fashion designers for Miss Europe Continental Edition. How do you feel about being part of such a dynamic and established international team?
Yes, it’s my first time and I’m really happy to be one of the designers for this event. It’s a wonderful opportunity. Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised when I was contacted for this event. It allowed me to see behind the scenes, but above all, it showed me how hard the organizers work to organize the event and also to showcase designers from around the world.
2. Tell us about your creativity and passion.
I have a lot of imagination and countless designs in my head. I think designers come up with designs every second, and you shouldn’t hesitate to sketch them so you don’t forget them. But above all, it’s a way of expressing yourself without limits. That’s what I love about this field: a piece of fabric can dress and embellish a person even more.
a. Where do you mainly draw inspiration for your creations?
Well, I have a lot of imagination and I have a lot of designs in my head. Following these images of clothes, I make the connection with the year that merges, the 80s inspire me a lot and I modernize them in my own way.
b. How would you describe the woman you are designing for?
She is beautiful, we have spoken and she is very interesting. This contest is not just a beauty contest. There are responsibilities involved and this lady deserves to win.
3. Tell us about your plans for the future.
I’ve just come back from Dubai, as I mentioned earlier, and there’s the fact of designing clothes, but I would add that there’s also the message I want to convey through these creations. The message is “Choose yourself, it’s the beginning of chaos and therefore the beginning of your rebirth.” Like a phoenix, once you accept yourself and start living again, you reach another level of confidence that allows you to participate in this amazing event.
4. What advice would you give to an aspiring fashion designer who dreams of pursuing this career?
I would tell them not to give up, because there are people around you who expect a lot from you, so don’t hide your talent.
5. What are you expecting from this experience at Miss Europe Continental?
What I am expecting from Miss Europe Continental is to be able to share the values of this event, which really opens the mind through exchanges and conversations with candidates from different countries, and to be able to participate in other international events.
