Hello! My name is Claudia Ciobanu and I am proudly representing Moldova at this year’s Miss Europe Continental. I work as an economist, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, which allows me to apply my knowledge and contribute to my field professionally and I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Accounting and Audit. Alongside my work and studies, I am passionate about modelling — it’s not just a hobby, but a way to express my love for fashion and beauty. In my free time, I enjoy travelling, painting, and reading, as they enrich my mind and soul and inspire me to always grow as a person.
How would you describe yourself as a person with three adjectives?
I would describe myself as ambitious, creative, and dedicated.
What does fashion represent to you?
For me, fashion is more than clothing — it is a powerful form of self-expression and art. It allows me to communicate my personality, mood, and culture without saying a word. Fashion constantly inspires me to embrace my individuality and empowers me to feel confident and beautiful in my own skin.
Is there a moment in your life that has particularly marked you?
One significant moment in my life was when I decided to return to modelling after focusing on my academic goals. Balancing both my studies and my passion showed me that I am capable of pursuing multiple dreams at once. It gave me confidence in my strength and determination, and taught me that it’s never too late to follow what makes your heart truly happy.
What do you expect to gain from the experience of Miss Europe Continental?
I hope to gain invaluable friendships with inspiring women from all over the world, to grow personally and professionally, and to proudly share my culture and values on an international stage. Most importantly, I want to inspire other young women to believe in themselves and to follow their dreams with courage and dedication.
What advice would you like to share with other participants?
My advice would be: stay true to yourself and enjoy every moment of this beautiful journey. Believe in your uniqueness, be kind to everyone, and remember that this experience is not only a competition, but also an opportunity to learn, grow, and create unforgettable memories.
