The soul of Marilyn Monroy

Hello people, today let’s meet our beautiful Miss Marilyn and her interview:

Short introduction of yourself: What’s your name, which nation do you represent, and what do you do in life?

Hello, my name is Marilyn Monroy, proudly representing Spain 🇪🇸. I am a Systems Engineer by profession and currently studying Nutrition—a path that allows me to uplift others through wellness and knowledge.

How do you like to spend your free time?

In my free time, I love going to the gym, meditating, reading books on metaphysics, learning new languages, and spending quality moments with my friends. These are sacred rituals that nourish my soul.

What is your best quality?

My best quality is my relentless spirit. I’m never satisfied with standing still—once I achieve something, I immediately look toward the next challenge. I am always evolving, always seeking more.

What is your biggest flaw?

My biggest flaw is my tendency to avoid asking for help. I often believe I can handle everything on my own. But life has taught me that opening up to my friends and peers doesn’t make me weaker—it makes us stronger together.

Who inspired you in your life or career?

In life, my greatest inspiration has been my mother. She carried a smile even through the hardest storms and gave more love than she ever received. Her kindness was her strength. I try to live like she did.

In my career, my brother Marco inspired me deeply. As a child, I watched his determination and brilliance shine through, even when others doubted him. His thesis presentation was a triumph—highest grades, highest recognition. His resilience is my benchmark.

Is there a particular event or something in your life that has marked you?

The loss of my parents changed everything. It taught me to live with pain as a teacher. Grief doesn’t disappear—it transforms you. It has shaped me into someone more resilient and grounded in purpose.

What is happiness to you?

Happiness, to me, is found in the smallest things—peace, presence, and purpose. When we’re truly aligned with our inner world and have a reason to rise each morning, we touch happiness.

What is the phrase or quote you will never forget? Why?

My favorite quote is by Benjamin Franklin: “Lost time is never found again.”
Time is our most precious currency. It must be spent wisely—with positivity, purpose, and passion. What we do with our time defines who we become.

How do you feel about being here at Miss Europe Continental?

I feel honored. Miss Europe Continental is more than a beauty contest—it’s a platform to uplift, inspire, and serve. Through this opportunity, I wish to launch my food aid project for those most in need.

As Albert Einstein once said: “The world will not be destroyed by those who do evil, but by those who watch them without doing anything.”

I believe small actions can create great waves.

What does fashion represent for you?

Fashion is the soul’s handwriting—it reveals authenticity and essence. While your clothing may hint at your personality, it doesn’t define your worth. True style is found in how you carry your spirit.

How do you see yourself in ten years?

Life is beautifully unpredictable, but if I could envision it—I see myself happy, healthy, fruitful in purpose, grateful for all the hard-earned goals, and firmly anchored in faith and self-love.

If you could make one wish come true, what would it be?

If I had just one wish, it would be to bring my mother back to life. Her presence would make my world complete.’’
