‘’My name is Melody, and I represent Bulgaria. The symbols of my country are a Bulgarian rose and a lion—beauty and strength united. The rose is my favorite flower, the lion is my favorite animal, and I am truly proud and happy that my homeland carries these two powerful emblems.
I am definitely a person of the arts. When I was seven years old, I watched the New Year’s concert of Vienna Philharmonic, and that event marked me deeply—it showed me the kind of person I wanted to be. That was the first time I saw the beauty of ballet, and from that moment on, it became my driving passion. Today, I study ballet pedagogy and dedicate myself to this art form.
I also love oriental dances, which I started learning them recently. I can’t imagine my life without music and dance. I enjoy going to concerts, opera, exhibitions, and, of course, ballet performances.
I love nature and animals with all my heart, and I take part in volunteer events for helping and protecting them.
I owe a lot to my family for the person I am today and everything I have—the most to my mother and grandmother—along with all my teachers, especially my beloved ballet teacher, Mrs. Tanya Andonova. She taught me one of my strongest qualities: to overcome pain and never give up.
If I had to mention a weakness, I’d say I’m very emotional and often impulsive. Yet, I believe these traits add to my personality and authenticity, even if they don’t always show me in the best light.
To me, happiness means love. The quote I will never forget is from the book The Wisdom of Solomon: “Love redeems all sins.” It reminds me every time that love is the most essential thing—limitless, priceless, and free from the vanity of the world.
Being here at Miss Europe Continental fills me with excitement and joy. I’m grateful for the opportunity to participate in this wonderful event.
For me, fashion is a way to see myself through a different lens each time it changes. Since I was a child, I have loved this transformation, whether on stage or in everyday life. Clothes and every accessory carry individuality and character; they transform a person. Fashion is part of my soul, because I love to embody different looks that make me feel new and inspired. I get bored with the same, but then I always come back to parts of the old—just like fashion does.
When asked how I see myself in ten years, I truly don’t know. I can only say what I would like to be: a mother and a loving and beloved wife.
If I could make one wish come true, it would be no suffering nor for human, neither for animals, and nor for nature. I dream of a world where we all live in unity and happiness, without harming one another. ‘’
