Hello people! This morning we can read the interview of our Miss Martha for the magazine!
‘’Brief introduction: What is your name? Martha Mellissa Linares Guerra
What country do you represent? Cuba
From a very young age, I was drawn to the arts, especially dance, and my mother was my source of inspiration to delve into that world with perseverance. Even with obstacles, I managed to complete my studies with good results, and it keeps me focused every day.
– Is there any event or something in particular that has left its mark on you?
Since I was 4 years old, I was very interested in watching dance performances on TV, and I said at one point, “I want to dance when I grow up,” and that’s what it’s been about ever since. This also led me to venture into the world of modeling because of my skills, which I enjoy and identify with.
– What is happiness for you?
Happiness is a set of pleasant moments that give meaning to life and motivate us to continue growing. It’s not complete; it’s fleeting, but even if they’re just moments, they should be enjoyed.
– What is a phrase or quote you will never forget? Why?
“Don’t wait, it will never be the perfect moment.”
It’s a phrase that has motivated me to take risks for my growth, that has kept me focused on fighting for what I want, and even if it’s not the perfect moment, it’s a unique opportunity that I shouldn’t let pass.
That’s why it’s important to overcome the fear of change and fight for what you want, even if the path isn’t the straightest and most direct. The problem is not stopping, it’s keeping going, not waiting for the best moment or the best opportunity; it’s now.
– How do you feel about being here at Miss Continental Europe?
Participating in Miss Continental Europe is surprising for me. If I had imagined it, I still wouldn’t believe it. It’s a different but beautiful path. It’s another opportunity for growth and an open door to new professional life projects, and I’m proud to represent my country.
– What does fashion represent to you?
For me, fashion represents a way of self-expression—ways of dressing, manners, and styles—so that people who enjoy it can identify with the diversity of the world of shapes, styles, and colors when it comes to dressing.
– How do you see yourself in ten years?
In 10 years, I’ve experienced personal growth combined with stable projects in the world of dance and modeling.
– If you could grant one wish, what would it be?
To design a space where, regardless of race, age, nationality, or social class, people interested in the world of dance and modeling can enjoy and learn from my knowledge and experiences.’’
