Let’s have a chat with Vladislava Diatchina

– Tell us about yourself, your name, your age, your nationality and the country you live in and will represent..

My name is Vladyslava! I am 36 years old! I am originally from Ukraine! I have been living in Italy for almost four years!

– Living in Italy must be a unique experience. What impressed you the most about our country? Is there something from Ukrainian culture that you always carry with you?

Of course, living in Italy is a unique experience for me, because the culture and mentality are different from the country where I was born and raised. But it also inspired me to overcome all the difficulties I encountered along the way and move forward. For example, I am currently training at a hairdressing academy, so that I can open my own salon in the future. I have already worked as a hairdresser in Ukraine, so it is a bit easier for me than for other students. Sometimes the language barrier can become a problem, but I can overcome these difficulties without any problems. What impressed me the most about your country was definitely the architecture and family values! I consider Italy the most beautiful country! There is nothing of the Ukrainian culture that I always carry with me. But I will always carry in my heart the love for Ukraine and I hope that peace and tranquility will come and that I will be able to come to Ukraine and hug my family!

– How would you describe yourself as a person, beyond your participation in the competition? What are your passions and dreams?

I am a very kind and understanding person! but at the same time I am a very responsible and persistent person, I always achieve my goals! I like to exercise, I prefer the gym with weights! This is very important not only for aesthetic satisfaction, but also for health! As I said before, I dream of opening my own hairdressing and hair salon, where not only the client’s wishes are taken into account, but first of all the health and quality of his hair! I want our reliable and caring service to inspire the customer!– Is there a moment in your life that you consider to be decisive for the person you are today?

Without a doubt, the decisive moment that influenced my life was my move to Italy and the fact that I was not afraid to go and live in another country, knowing that I would have to face difficulties. But as I said, difficulties harden us and make us stronger and I do not regret anything.

– What is your vision of beauty? What does beauty really represent for you, besides physical appearance?

External beauty is definitely important, because when you meet a person you observe their appearance, but only after talking to them in person can you draw conclusions about them. As we say in Ukraine: “They greet you and look at your beauty and clothes but when you leave they talk about your intelligence”! I don’t know how correctly I translated this proverb from our language, but I mean that no matter how beautiful a person is, if a person doesn’t read books, there is nothing to talk about with him. Or other important qualities such as kindness, responsiveness, humanity. But the most important thing is to know the limit, everything should be done in moderation, because many people abuse the kindness of others, this is already using the person! Therefore, there must be balance in everything!

– What are your main goals for this competition? Would you like to win, or rather see this experience as a springboard for new opportunities?

Expectations from the competition… Needless to say, I would be happy to win, but I wouldn’t mind if it didn’t happen, because I believe that to achieve success in something you have to work tirelessly! Of course, I would like to make new acquaintances, it’s always pleasant and useful! It’s interesting to meet people from different parts of the world!

– Is there anything you hope to learn from this experience?

From this experience I will learn to overcome stage fright! Since my school days, I was always shy when I had to perform in front of an audience! I am not a public figure! I have always felt more comfortable in the shadows! So for me this will be a big step towards overcoming the fear of being in front of an audience!

– Thank you for your time and for sharing something about yourself with the Miss Europe Continental Team. See you soon in Naples.

Thank you so much! It was really nice talking to you! See you soon.
