Kadrin Ungerson: Being a Mother, Influencer, and Ambassador of Estonia

Hello! My name is Kadrin, I am 28 years old and I am from Estonia. I live in the city of Pärnu, which in my opinion is one of the most wonderful places in Estonia. Pärnu is our summer capital, and spending time here in summer is truly delightful!

– You’re both a mother and an active online professional: what’s your typical day like?

I am a mother of three young children, and at the same time I am dedicated to developing my own ventures. Most of the time I raise my children on my own, but over time I have found a great balance between motherhood and social media. My days are carefully planned, and thanks to that I manage to accomplish a lot. Usually, my day starts at 6 a.m. and ends around 11 p.m. I create social media content while my children are asleep, and the rest of the time is dedicated to our quality time together.

– On your Instagram profile, you share tips on how to grow online: what do you think are the most common mistakes people make when trying to grow on Instagram?

One of the most common mistakes is trying to please everyone. When you try to speak to everyone, you end up speaking to no one. It is important to find one focus and stay consistent with it. Another mistake is forgetting why you started in the first place, you should create for yourself, not for others. When I started, I was told right away: no matter how good your content is, there will always be criticism. And that is true. But keep your head up and move forward with confidence!

– Are you planning to use your experience at Miss Europe Continental as an opportunity to launch new content formats focused on fashion, personal development, or motherhood?

Absolutely! I have already taken this direction in my social media, because I feel this is truly Me. Creating this type of content brings me the most joy, and I love inspiring and helping other beauty & fashion creators to produce quality content and grow on social media.

– Would you like to turn this experience into a series of simple and useful tips for other women who want to grow, both on social media and in real life?

I know how many women struggle with insecurity and lack the courage to start something new or to pursue their dreams. If I hadn’t started my social media journey, I would not be here today at Miss Europe Continental! You must believe in yourself, because that is the only way to make your dreams come true. My journey is living proof that it is possible, and I hope to inspire other women with my story – especially mothers, who so often put themselves last.

– What do you hope your children will learn from watching you on this journey with Miss Europe Continental?

I want my children to dare to be themselves, even if it means doing something completely new and unseen before. I want them to grow into confident people who are not afraid to seize the opportunities life brings them.

– This is your first experience in a beauty contest as Miss Europe Continental: what do you expect and what do you hope to achieve?

This is my very first experience in a beauty contest. Above all, I look forward to the whole journey and to meeting inspiring people from all around the world. With my participation, I want to show that mothers, too, can set big goals and achieve them. I may not look like I did at twenty, and my body carries the story of three children – but that is exactly what makes me unique. I want other women, especially mothers, to believe in themselves more and to see that beauty and strength lie above all in confidence.

– Is there a message or value you want to share as an ambassador for your country?

As an ambassador for my country, I want to show the world how beautiful and strong Estonian women are. We are hardworking, determined, and unafraid of new challenges. I am honored to be an example that an Estonian woman can combine beauty, wisdom, and heart – and that this combination is our true strength.

– If you could speak to your ten-year-old self, what would you say?

Believe in yourself. As a child, my self-esteem was very low. I thought I was worse than others because I didn’t belong to any “group.” Now, as an adult, I understand that less is more. You don’t need to have many friends – just a few, but the right ones. True friends are those who support you both in good times and in bad.

– What makes you truly happy, beyond social media, competitions, and success?

My greatest happiness and treasure are my children and my family. They give my life meaning and the deepest joy.

– Thank you for your time Kadrin and for sharing something about yourself with the Miss Europe Continental community. See you soon in Naples.
