‘’My name is Metea Cristina Maria, and I have the honor of representing Saudi Arabia — the country that welcomed me, challenged me, and helped me become who I am today. I work as a cabin crew, so my life is always in motion. Sometimes I travel for work, sometimes for pleasure, but always with the same passion: to meet new people, discover new cultures, and collect moments that will stay with me forever.
If I had to choose my best quality, it would be my determination — once I set a goal, I give my heart to achieve it and my biggest flaw is that I am sometimes too perfectionist, which makes me overthink details, but maybe that is also what keeps me moving forward.
“Just keep going” is something I learned from my mother who I am deeply inspired by, a woman of elegance, strength, and kindness. She taught me that with grace and perseverance, I can overcome any challenge.
And I remembered her words when I first left my country because one of the biggest turning points in my life was the day I left my family, my friends, and everything familiar behind to move to another continent. I stepped into a world where I knew no one, where the language, the culture, and the rules were completely different. I had only myself to rely on. In that moment, I became my own hero. That experience taught me that if I could rebuild my life once, I could do it again — anywhere, anytime. It showed me that comfort zones are just invisible walls, and the moment you step outside them, you discover how strong you truly are.
That’s why for me, happiness is not a destination you reach and stay in forever. It’s something you create every single day, in small doses — in a smile, in an achievement, in a moment of gratitude. I believe we are all responsible for our own happiness, and that comes from choosing what feeds your soul, not just what looks good from the outside.
This is my motto “I believe everything is possible when it comes from the heart” In the past, I applied for jobs that didn’t truly represent me, and I never got them. But when I dared to follow my dream and applied for the career I truly wanted, everything happened quickly — even better than I had imagined. It was proof that when your desire is genuine, the world moves to meet you halfway.
Being part of this contest Miss Europe Continental is another dream I never thought I would live. Whether I win a crown or not, I know this experience will open doors, connect me with inspiring people, and allow me to step into a new chapter in the fashion world. I believe God doesn’t place opportunities in our lives without a purpose.
Fashion, for me, is more than clothing. It’s a way of thinking, a way of seeing beauty in the unexpected. It sharpens your vision, shapes your habits, and teaches you to turn even the ordinary into art. Once you truly connect with fashion, your imagination begins to work in entirely new ways.
In the future, I see myself surrounded by the people I love, still travelling, still curious about the world. And if I could make one wish come true, it would be to speak all the main languages of the world or at least the most challenging ones, like Arabic. Not just for convenience , but as a form of respect for every place I visit and every person I meet. Language is a bridge , and I want to be able to cross it anywhere, connecting with people’s hearts in their own words.’’
