In this interview, Vincenzo Elefante, General Manager and Owner of Elefante Viaggi, shares the behind-the-scenes story of a family business that has made passion for travel its mission.   • How did Elefante Viaggi come about, and where does the passion that still drives you today originate?

Elefante Viaggi was born from a family passion. We are now in the third generation of company management. The versatility of this sector has allowed each of us to bring an added value to the company according to our own skills.
Surely, the spirit that unites all managerial staff is to maintain a certain quality standard. This was the main goal of those who preceded us and the one we have the responsibility to uphold.

  • Your “All-inclusive” model is highly appreciated by travelers. What exactly does it entail, and what advantages does it offer compared to planning a trip independently?

Our motto over the years has been “Pack your bags, we’ll take care of the rest.” It perfectly describes our product.
While the tourism world is flooded with “do-it-yourself” travel, we remain firmly anchored to the all-inclusive model. This approach has brought us great rewards.
Our typical client trusts us knowing they are delegating not only the hotel and flight arrangements but also a series of complementary and equally important details. This sets them in a state of calm that already puts them in vacation mode.
Naturally, the trust relationship with the client is built over time, consistently proving our reliability and expertise.

  • In addition to group travel, you also offer coach rental services for events, private tours, and personalized transfers. How important is flexibility in your offering today?

Coach rental is where it all started. The company was born three generations ago under this banner.
It is a very complex sector where affirming a quality principle is not a given. In this context, flexibility in the offering can be decisive.
Careful company management allows us to adjust pricing based on the continuity of commissioned work and the seasonality of the service requested.
Customer loyalty is fundamental for us. A loyal client can benefit from possible market price fluctuations throughout the year.

  • As the official partner of Miss Europe Continental 2025, you will accompany the contestants through the event’s various stages. Being chosen for an international event is an important recognition: how do you experience this opportunity within your company’s journey?

We are honored to be part of Miss Europe Continental 2025.
It further proves that, as our predecessors taught us, guaranteeing quality service is the only thing that pays off over time.
For the current management, who is also working on a company image and communication restyling, this is an important sign that we are moving in the right direction.

  • Are you working on new projects or services? Can you give us a preview of the directions Elefante Viaggi intends to explore in the future?

There are several new ideas to be realized. A growing company needs some procedures to be automated, and we are working in that direction.
However, it is crucial to avoid turning these automations into a sterile relationship with the client: customers need to talk to us, and we to them. We are studying a formula to maintain this balance.
We are also working on more innovative products, travel packages tailored to specific niche markets. Diversification is key in an increasingly uncertain market.

  • Looking ahead, how do you envision the company’s evolution in the coming years, in a constantly changing tourism sector?

In the near future, we imagine a company offering a broader range of products aimed at a more diverse clientele, supported by targeted marketing activities.
We want to ensure easy and transparent booking procedures, with clear information on the services booked.
We foresee an organization where employee comfort will be a key focus, not just in terms of pay, but also through benefits and initiatives aimed at improving the work environment and fostering shared commercial goals.
