Hello! Let’s read something more about our Miss Eleena:
‘’My name is Eleena, and I can proudly say that I will represent my country the Netherlands in the finals of this competition this year. I couldn’t even imagine a year ago that this would be me in a few months on a big stage, when i was young i was already dreaming of making a change in the world. This will be my opportunity to spread my kindness and good words to the rest of the world and really make that difference.
I have always loved taking care of people, and that will also be something that is really important for me in the future. In my free time i really like to read or do sports, it’s really important for me to listen to my body and being able to feel confident. Anyone has dreams right, mine didn’t change, the more I see the more plans I have for myself in the future. One of my best quality’s would be listening and taking care of people, it’s a small thing to do for a person but can mean so much to another. If I would describe my worst flaw it would be that I’m really dedicated to what I’m doing so if it doesn’t go my way that will disappoint me.
Who inspired you in your life / career?
I couldn’t say that there is one person or an specific action that inspired me in life, so many people showed me things and learned me stuff. Many things happened that made me the young learning woman I’m now. I have taken that al with me, and now I will be on my own path hoping to be an inspiration to others and create a safe space.
Is there in particular an event or something in your life that has marked you?
I have gone through multiple events that had left a mark on me. An experience could be meaningful or life-changing. If I would describe what really changed me as a person is the lack of love I got when I was younger, and that is also one of the reasons I want to give people around me love.
What is happiness for you?
It’s one of those quiet, powerful forms of resilience, I took something painful and transformed it into taking care for another. Made from my weakness an learning point and came out of it stronger. It does not erase the hurt, but does make beauty out of it. It’s hard to define the feeling of happiness, it is not something you were born with. It’s an emotion that you will feel, for me it is when I’m surrounded with the people who i love.
What is the phrase or quote you will never forget? Why?
“It’s okay to make faults, because you need to learn.”
Faults are not all about forgiveness, it’s about growth. Mistakes aren’t signs of failure, they’re signs that you are trying, learning and living. Every time you fall, you gain perspective, resilience and empathy. This mindset will allow you to fall, learn and get back up and keep going. There is no perfection in an human, but progress. You will also learn not to be to hard on yourself, allow yourself to make mistakes.
How do you feel about being here at Miss Europe Continental?
This event isn’t just about beauty, it’s about confidence, individuality and personal transformation. It brings together people with powerful stories, goals and a drive to represent not just themselves but something larger. Our countries, values and journeys. We have an chance to let our voice be heard and make a difference. It isn’t just about being pretty in heels and wearing an gown. It’s everything you carry from your past, every lesson, every scar and every dream.
What does fashion represent for you?
For me fashion isn’t just a way of styling yourself but it is also an way of expressing yourself. Based on my emotions is how I will be representing myself in a fashion way. Fashion, to me, represents expression without words a language made of fabric, colour, and shape. It’s how people tell the world who they are, what they feel, or what they want to say, before ever opening their mouth. Fashion can be seen as confidence, art, identity or rebellion. The right outfit can make someone feel powerful, beautiful, bold, or seen and that impact says so much about every part of our life. That’s why fashion is more than trends. It’s personal. It’s storytelling.
How do you see yourself in ten years?
In ten years, I see myself well on my way to opening a hospital in Asia. I know that many areas still struggle with access to quality healthcare, and I want to be an part of the solution. I plan to complete my education in medicine or healthcare management, gain more experience working in hospitals, and build the skills needed to lead a team and run a facility. It’s a long road, but I’m passionate about improving care for underserved communities. And I’m committed to making this dream of mine an reality.
If you could make one wish come true, what would it be?
If I could make one wish come true, it will be to ensure that every person, regardless of where they are born has an access to quality healthcare. Good health is the foundation of a fulfilling life, yet so many people around the world, especially in underserved regions, are denied that basic right. My wish is rooted in hope: that we can all create a future where no one suffers simply because they couldn’t afford or access care. I believe that with innovation, empathy and action we can turn that wish into reality.’’
