Beyond the sash: Miss Greece on authenticity, confidence and the woman she is becoming

Hello everyone, my name is Tati, and I’m 24 years old. I’m truly proud to represent Greece at Miss Europe Continental, and I currently live in Cyprus.
–  Is there someone who has particularly influenced your journey?
My mother has been the most important influence on my journey. She is my biggest support system and my daily inspiration. Through every up and down, she has always believed in me, teaching me resilience, kindness, and how to stay true to myself.
– When did you start taking care of your image and your social media presence?
My passion for social media started a long time ago. I’ve always genuinely loved sharing my life, my style, and my daily energy with others. For me, it was never just about posting pictures, it became a platform to connect with people, share my vision, and hopefully motivate other women to embrace their own beauty and confidence.
– In your content you always seem very confident: is that confidence something you built or something you’ve gained over time?
That confidence was definitely built step by step over time. I wasn’t born with it, and it didn’t happen overnight. I built it by stepping out of my comfort zone, pushing through self-doubt, and choosing to accept who I am instead of waiting for external validation.
– How would you describe your personality to someone who doesn’t know you?
I would describe myself as ambitious, empathetic, and deeply sincere. I’m a warm, open-hearted person who genuinely cares about others. I value authenticity above everything else, I don’t play roles, and I’m always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone who needs it.
– Is there something in your life that changed the way you see yourself?
Yes. There were moments in my life that truly challenged me and made self-acceptance feel very difficult, especially in a world filled with idealized standards on social media. It’s so easy to lose yourself trying to fit into those standards. But through those moments, I had a real awakening: I realized that I am my own biggest ally, and I need to support myself rather than be my own harsh critic.
– From your social media, it seems like you travel quite a lot, is traveling more of an escape or a form of discovery for you?
For me, traveling is all about discovery. It’s my way of expanding my horizon and my spirit. I love exploring new cultures, seeing how people live in different parts of the world, and absorbing the unique energy of new places. It gives me so much inspiration and perspective.
– Is your biggest dream today the same as the one you had when you were younger?
The core is the same, to inspire people and leave a positive impact. But my dream evolved as I grew up. As a child, I simply wanted to be noticed; today, I want my presence to be meaningful.
– Would you rather be remembered for your image or for a choice you’ve made? Which one?
Without a doubt, for a choice I made. An attractive image can capture attention for a moment, but it’s the courageous choices you make, the way you treat people, and your integrity that leave a lasting legacy. I want to be remembered as someone who chose kindness and backed up her words with action.
– Is there something you want to build for your future?
Right now, I want to invest all my energy into my present moment, my personal growth, my goals, and my inner foundation. By building a strong and successful version of myself today, I am creating a secure, harmonious, and beautiful future for my family and the people I love.
– About Miss Europe Continental, what does it mean to you to step onto an international stage representing Greece?
For me, it is an absolute honor. Being born in Greece means carrying the legacy of an extraordinary culture, a rich history, and a proud, strong-spirited people. Stepping onto an international stage with my homeland’s name on my sash fills my heart with immense love and gratitude. I have a deep desire to show the world the true grace, warmth, and dignity of my country.
– How do you think you will stand out in a context where image is central?   In a room full of stunning women, I believe true distinction comes from radical sincerity. Outer beauty captures attention, but genuine warmth, an open heart, and authentic energy are unforgettable. I stand out simply by being unapologetically myself.
– If you were to win, what would be the first message you would want to share?
My message would be: “Always believe in yourself, take risks, and never be afraid to try. Don’t let fear or self-doubt hold you back from your dreams. You are much stronger than you think, and your starting point doesn’t define how far you can go your courage does.”
– If you could speak to yourself ten years from now, what would you ask?
I would look at her and ask: “Did you stay true to who we are? Did you love with an open heart, did you take every chance you wanted, and looking back at our journey, are you truly happy and proud of the woman we have become?”
– If you don’t win, what do you still hope to take away from this experience?
Beyond a title, I aim to walk away with priceless life experience, meaningful international friendships with inspiring women, and the deep pride of knowing I gave absolute 100% of myself. Stepping onto an international stage transforms you, and that personal growth is a victory in itself.
Thanks for your time dear Tati, see you soon in Italy
