Hi, I’m Tan Wei Lin, 27 years old. I represent Malaysia in Miss Europe Continental 2025 and I live in Kuala Lumpur.
– What’s your relationship with the fashion world? Do you consider yourself a fashionista?
Fashion is how I express myself. I don’t follow trends blindly, I mix and match to show who I am. So yes, I’d say I’m a fashionista, in my own way.
– How did your career in fashion develop? Did it begin before or after the beauty pageants? What experience has left a lasting impression on you?
It started before pageants, I’ve always loved being in front of the camera and telling stories through looks. But pageants taught me how powerful confidence is. That stuck with me.
– How would you describe your personal style, on and off the runway?
On the runway: bold and fierce. Off the runway: chic but effortless. I like to keep it real but still stand out.
– What does it mean to you to represent Malaysia in a global beauty pageant as Miss Europe Continental?
It’s an honor. I want people to see the strength, warmth, and culture Malaysia holds through me.
How do you prepare, mentally and physically, for an international competition?
Discipline. I eat well, train hard, rest enough. And mentally I remind myself why I started and what I’m here for.
– Would you like to venture into other fields, such as film, business, or activism?
Yes! I’m open to film and hosting, maybe even running my own brand. If it speaks to people, I’m interested.
– After participating in Miss Europe Continental, what are your professional goals? Do you have a dream?
My dream is to be a voice and face that inspires others to be bold. I want to grow in this industry, and one day create something that helps young girls believe in themselves.
