My name is Salma Guerbaoui, and I’m proudly representing Morocco at Miss Europe Continental. I currently live in Dubai, where I work as a cabin crew and model. I see myself as a woman on a mission — someone who wants to grow, inspire, and leave a mark through grace, strength, and authenticity. I love expressing myself through art, fashion, and travel — discovering the world while learning from every culture I encounter.
- Hello Salma, how does it feel to represent Morocco on an international stage?
It’s an indescribable honor. Carrying my country’s name on an international stage fills me with pride and responsibility. Morocco is a land of beauty, resilience, and culture — and representing it means showing the world the strength and elegance Moroccan women carry within. For me, it’s more than just a title — it’s a chance to inspire others by showing that dreams have no borders when you believe in yourself.
- What brought you to Dubai, and how has it influenced your career?
Dubai has always been a place of ambition and opportunity. Moving here has allowed me to grow both personally and professionally. It’s a city that celebrates diversity and hard work, and it has taught me to adapt, evolve, and believe in my vision. Being surrounded by people chasing big dreams constantly reminds me that anything is possible with determination.
- What do you love most about being a flight attendant?
The magic of my work lies in connection. Every flight brings with it new faces, new stories, and new horizons. Traveling the world has opened my heart and mind: it has taught me empathy, patience, and appreciation for how wonderfully different we all are. It’s a job that constantly fuels my curiosity and my love for life.
- Which destination has inspired you the most?
Zanzibar was truly the destination that inspired me the most. There’s something magical about its sunsets, the pace of life, and the warmth of its people. Being there reminded me of the beauty of simplicity: how peace and joy can be found even in the smallest moments. The island’s vibrant culture and natural energy helped me reconnect with myself and appreciate the pure, unspoiled beauty of the world. It was a trip that grounded me and inspired me to always carry calm and gratitude with me wherever I go.
- How did you first get into modeling?
Modeling began as a passion: a way to express confidence, artistry, and femininity. My first casting taught me the value of perseverance and self-confidence. Every runway I’ve walked since then has been a step closer to the woman I aspire to be: bold, proud, and unreserved.
- How are you preparing for Miss Europe Continental?
I’m preparing by focusing on balance: mental, emotional, and physical. I train, study, and reflect on the message I want to share with the world. I believe preparation isn’t just about how you look; it’s about who you are and what you represent.
- How do you plan to represent Morocco’s culture and values?
Through authenticity, elegance, and kindness. Moroccan culture is rich in warmth, tradition, and creativity. I want to demonstrate that being a Moroccan woman means being strong yet compassionate, modern yet deeply rooted in her values. My goal is to represent my country with pride and light.
- What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I love spending time at the gym, attending fashion shows, discovering music, and traveling to new places. I also love moments of reflection: writing in a journal, walking by the sea, or simply spending time with my family. These are moments that keep me grounded and make me feel grateful.
- How do you define inner beauty, and how important is it in your life and work?
For me, inner beauty is peace: the ability to remain kind and confident regardless of circumstances. It’s what shines through when the lights go out. Inner beauty is the strength to stay true to yourself, supporting others along the way. Both in my career and in my life, it’s the essence that gives meaning to everything.
- What message would you like to share with young women in Morocco and around the world?
Never doubt your power. You don’t have to wait for permission to shine: your voice, your dreams, and your story matter. Be bold, be curious, and believe that every version of yourself has a purpose. I hope to remind women everywhere that confidence isn’t about perfection, but about embracing your own path and moving forward with courage and heart.
