Today we will meet better our Miss Europe Continental Ireland 2023, Chloe Pixie.

Below her interview.

‘’ Tell something about yourself, what you do in life, how you like to spend your free time, your best quality, your worst flaw.

 I’m Chloë, also known as Pixie. For work, I’m a teacher, childcare minder, musician, humorist and beekeeper. In my free time I play guitar and sing, do yoga, make art and spend a lot of time outdoors. I’m also a globetrotter in my 37th country so traveling is a big part of my life too. In terms of personality, my friends consider me empathic and caring but my biggest flaw is unstableness. 

- Who inspired you in your life / career? 
Many people but in particular anyone who follows their dreams and achieves their goals have definitely inspired me. No matter how big the goal or how unrealistic the dream, the will to achieve them shows strength, determination and persistence. 

- Is there in particular an event or something in your life that has marked you? 
When my mother passed away, it changed my perspective of life and how one can depart at any time so I advise to take any opportunity that arises, risk what tempts you and don’t have regrets because you can’t turn back time anyway. Learn from your mistakes, meet people and be yourself.  

- What is happiness for you?
Seeing people happy with themselves. You can’t make the world happy if you’re not happy yourself. 

- What is the phrase or quote you will never forget? Why?
 “Love the life you live and live the life you love” – Bob Marley. In my opinion, it’s so important to enjoy what you do. There’s nothing worse than constantly feeling in difficulty towards something that doesn’t mean something to you. Have a goal that matters to you, do things that make you happy, work in a job that you enjoy. If you wake up saying “ffs not looking forward to today”, then leave. Change. Try something new. 

- How do you see yourself in ten years?
I hope to see myself attain my goals and surpass them even. Hopefully I’ll have been to 50 countries by then, maybe with a partner, or dog. Right now I’m not ready for a house and kids but in the coming years, I know that instinct will arise. 

- How do you feel about being here at Miss Europe Continental?
Honored. I’m unsure what to expect but it’s more of a confidence boost and new experience. I’m looking forward to this adventure and meeting new people and business opportunities. Though I’ve been to Italy before, it’s always nice to be in warmer and sunnier weather than Ireland!

- What does fashion represent for you? 
For me is comfort in your own skin and being yourself.  What I like about fashion is that it’s so diverse and constantly evolves. In fact, fashion in my opinion, is a form of art and expression. It isn’t only about “trying to look good”.  What’s important is the uniqueness, creativity, work and how it stands out from other pieces of art.
