Edina Kozmannová at Miss Europe Continental
Hello! My name is Edina Kozmannová, and I am 24 years old. I come from the vicinity of Košice, I work as a psychologist, specializing in problematic children. Additionally, I am interested in psychiatric cases and I plan to pursue further studies to become a clinical psychologist in Slovakia.
In my free time, I enjoy various sports, such as dancing. More specifically pole dance which helped me improve my skills and confidence. Moreover, I love baking and spending time with animals. I also pursue modeling, primarily photo modeling, and have had the honor and opportunity to work with various Slovak fashion designers. My favorite designer is Zuzana Haková, who is renowned in Slovakia and internationally.
The beginning of my modeling career was hard because I was rejected a few times for photo shoots or shows, but I learned to view failure as an opportunity to push myself harder. With hard work, dedication, and the help of others, I finally succeeded. I am grateful to those who helped me move higher and higher, and I cannot express my gratitude enough. Fashion interests me greatly, I love beautiful feminine pieces.
I was thrilled when I found out that I had the honor of representing my country in a beauty competition, it was an indescribable feeling. I am looking forward to meet new people from every country and gaining new acquaintances and experiences. I am eagerly anticipating the opportunity to discover a new country that I am fond of, and to collaborate with different designers, makeup artists, and other professionals to gain insights into how they operate in a location outside of Slovakia.
Personally, I think it’s a great opportunity for the girls who participate in the competition because we can learn from each other while supporting each other. I expect to gain a lot of experience, positivity, and love from the competition. I hope we can be role models for other young girls to pursue their dreams.
Looking ahead, my plans for the next decade involve starting my own family and having children. Additionally, I would like to establish my own business in the areas of psychology and beauty/fashion, with the goal of helping women who experience feelings of inferiority to discover their inner beauty. Furthermore, I wish to continue pursuing the activities that bring me joy and a sense of contentment, while also inspiring other women along the way.
