My name is Irina. I was born in cold Siberia and now I live in Houston, Texas, USA.

Life is amazing and I see proof of it every day. When I was a little girl, I didn’t have any self-confidence and I didn’t feel beautiful. When I was 15 years old, I was invited to a fashion show as a model and it changed my life!  I felt beautiful for the first time.

Life gives us many opportunities and we always have a choice to accept them or not.

I want my story to be an inspiration to many.  I had open-heart surgery when I was 5 years old and if I defined myself by my condition, and did not believe in myself, my life could have been very different. I believe that I can make a difference in this world, so I founded my nonprofit organization, “Healthy Hearts,” to help people with heart conditions live happier and healthier lives.

I’m a leader of a volleyball community that unites people from different countries and cultures. I also give modeling lessons to make little girls and boys feel confident.

I want to share my story with more people and leave a legacy!

I have always been interested in the arts and everything it entails.

I have degrees in Public Relations, Styling, Art, and Modeling education. I work as a model,  modeling coach, bridal makeup artist, and hairstylist.

The greatest achievements of my modeling career are:

- Publications in “Vogue Italia”, ICONIC, Face magazine, “Weddings” etc.
- Walking on New York Fashion Week; Bridal Fashion Weeks (Moscow; Atlanta; Chicago, Houston)
- Billboard in New York Time Square
- Published as an artist in many magazines and exhibitions like “See Me” in New York and “World Fashion Tour”.

I give makeup, hair, and painting classes and I absolutely love everything I do!

I have had many dreams throughout my life, many of which have come true.  This is a beautiful example of how our thoughts and words have the power to become a reality.

I dream of opening a school to help young girls become ladies by helping instill confidence, and good manners, and encouraging them to pursue a mission in life. I want to help them to be the best version of themselves.

I also want to build my volleyball club with courts and trainers for everyone who wants to play for fun, meet new friends, and add another dimension to their lives.

And my biggest dream - is to be able to help more people with heart conditions. I want my nonprofit organization to give emotional support to individuals struggling with conditions similar to mine and I want to organize charity events. I hope to travel all over the world to help as many people as I can. I aim to share my story in order to help others to gain a new, positive perspective on life so they do not see themselves as victims of their condition, but rather victors!

I truly believe in declaring victory before seeing it, and working hard to make my dreams a reality!

I always say, “everything that happens, happens for a reason.” I am absolutely thankful for the opportunity to represent Texas, USA in Miss Europe Continental.  It’s a big responsibility and I have high expectations for myself. For me, this experience is more about sharing my story, and my intentions, rather than the competition. I would be honored to be chosen as the new Miss Europe Continental! The title would give me even more strength and confidence to help others, and be an example of the saying, “if you put your mind to it, and if you believe in yourself, anything is possible!”

I truly believe that there were reasons for all of the difficulties in my life. They have helped me to find myself and my mission. I am grateful to be who I am!

I expect this to be a fruitful experience in my life and I will do my best to represent my country.

During my experience competing in many pageants, I have learned one very important thing - you should be honest with yourself and with others.

Being honest means being yourself because you are beautiful the way you are. There is no one else like you in the world and you can make this world better just by being yourself - kind, confident and empowering.

My best advice is to not compare yourself to others, but rather, to compare yourself to who you were yesterday.

I believe that I should improve every day in every part of my life.

Pageantry is not only meant to prepare you for the competition but it is meant to prepare you for life in general.

I watch my diet and I take part in different sports like Kickboxing, volleyball, and weightlifting.

I'm working on my mental health and I love to meditate. I am working on managing my stress so that I can remain well composed in any situation.

My career in the fashion and beauty industries has improved my public speaking and taught me to always be prepared for public appearances.

The main challenge for me in competitions is speaking English.

I couldn’t speak English when I moved to the USA, 4.5 years ago. Little by little, my English improved as I communicated with various people, participated in live videos, pushed myself, and prepared for different interviews. I’m extremely proud of my progress.

I continue to learn English to feel absolutely confident on a stage.

All this is very important! I aim to feel confident, calm, and fit, but the most important thing is to be able to share my thoughts and be heard.

I have always been drawn to genuine people and I model myself after them.

To answer the question of how I am preparing to face the competition in the best way is putting the effort to strengthen all aspects of personal growth.

Step by step, I see the results of everything I'm passionate about:

- My nonprofit platform (I organize charity events)
- My volleyball community (I organize tournaments inside the community, between cities and even states; I provide free
training for beginners, and I also organize events within the community.)
- My modeling classes

I can’t wait to see how far it can grow and the positive impact it will have on people’s lives.

In addition to the nonprofit organization I have founded, as an artist, I want to create my own natural line of cosmetics.

I want to open my school for young girls and be able to share my knowledge with them.

My future projects will combine all of my knowledge and experiences that I have obtained throughout my life.  They will be the result of my hard work and I’ll be absolutely happy to help everyone who could benefit from my guidance.
