‘Hello to everyone! Today we meet our Miss Europe Continental Galles, Cristina Savescu.

’My name is Cristina Savescu. I am 32 years old and I am from Romania, but I have been living in the UK for almost 7 years. I can say of myself that I am an independent, strong, and ambitious woman. I am an active person; I like to exercise and keep fit. In my free time, I like to listen to music, read, and spend time with my family.

I am a positive person, and for me, there is no such thing as "I can't do this or that". No matter what the impediments or challenges I had, I never gave up on my dreams. I come from a modest but beautiful family. Even if I didn't have everything I wanted or a good financial situation, I never stopped dreaming and becoming what I am today.

I am a businesswoman and own a beauty salon in London. At the same time, I will continue my studies and I want to fulfil my dream of becoming a lawyer one day. In the summer of 2021, I decided to try modelling and I started to be more confident and believe in myself. I don't know how far I will go as a model, but if I can be part of some serious and beautiful projects, I will say "YES."

The day I was offered to participate in this contest, I wasn't sure I was suitable for it. But I believe that everything happens in your life for a purpose. Due to financial circumstances, I didn't have the chance to participate in certain miss contests or something like that till now. So, I have the chance to participate at Miss Europe Continental, and it will be one of the most beautiful experiences of my life.

A favourite status that I want to pass on to competitors is: "Don't let people throw your dreams away!"

I am preparing to face it in the best way by controlling my emotions and using them in a constructive way.

I am not involved in any projects other than business, but I am ready to be a part of them if given the opportunity. I look forward to attending Miss Europe Continental and meeting wonderful people in Italy.’’
