Hello there, today we get better in touch with our Miss Maria , from Romania.

Here her interview for our magazine!

‘’- Tell something about yourself, what you do in life, how you like to spend your free time, your best quality, your worst flaw.

My name is Maria and I come from beautiful and green Romania, (country of the vampires ). At the moment, I live in Dubai and I work as a cabin crew for Emirates. In my free time when I am not flying in new and exotic places, I love to meet with friends in Dubai and go for brunches and long days at the beach.My best quality Is empathy as I put myself in other people's shoes. My worst flaw is being a people pleaser as sometimes I really can't say no or set boundaries.

- Who inspired you in your life / career?

My biggest inspiration are my parents. They showed me that through hard work and dedication, you can achieve everything you ever dreamed of.

- Is there in particular an event or something in your life that has marked you?

When I moved as a small child from Romania to Italy, It has been very hard for me to adapt to the new language and way of living. However, despite all the challenges and obstacles, I am grateful for that event as it made me the person I am today: a strong and independent woman.

- What is happiness for you? Happiness is a clear horizon

- What is the phrase or quote you will never forget? Why?

"Let everything happen to you, beauty and terror. Just keep going, no feeling is final"

It comes from a movie I am very fond of: Jojo rabbit. I feel it is a manifestation of how I chose to live my life: always head up with positivity.

- How do you feel about being here at Miss Europe Continental?

I feel very grateful and lucky as I have the chance to represent my home, my country in such an important contest.That's why I want to thank Emanuela who chose me and gave me this great opportunity.

- What does fashion represent for you?

Fashion is the representation of our identity. We can tell a lot about people from what they chose to wear and how they present themselves to the world.

- How do you see yourself in ten years?

In 10 years I see myself as a truly happy person. Someone who achieved all her dreams and always keeps on growing and improving herself.I see myself as a successful woman, surrounded by people who love me.

- If you could make one wish come true, what would it be?

My biggest wish is to be able to buy a house for my parents as they worked so hard all their lives without managing to buy their own. They sacrificed so much for me and my sister in order for us to have everything and I want to make it up to them.’’
