Miss Europe Continental Beauty: The secrets of a Make Up Artist
Last week, the winner of the last edition of Miss Europe Continental Sara taheri returned to our offices to work on various photographic shoots, and in the backstage of these days we took the opportunity to do some interviews to our artists who have allowed us to carry out this project and make up.
For this reason we asked Veronica Guerretta MUA of Mission Beauty by Francesca Mazzacane, to reveal for you some secrets in the matter of make up.
HOW WAS THE DAY TODAY?
The shooting today had as a model the beautiful Sara Isabella Taheri, winner of Miss Europe Continental 2019. During the selections she was one of my favorites, she immediately distinguished herself for elegance and posture in addition to her beauty, it was easy and rewarding to work with her. For the shooting Sara wore the clothes of Giovanna Ercolano that are in my opinion breathtaking, a combination of transparency, lace and tulle that makes the dresses super sexy but elegant, dresses that already in the final of Miss Europe Continental had won me over.
WHEN DID YOU ARRIVE AT MISS EUROPE CONTINENTAL?
I am here as a makeup artist of this shooting thanks to Miss Europe Continental contest, in which I have been participating for 3 years now as an integral part of the official staff of makeup artist of Mission Beauty by Francesca Mazzacane. Since the first edition in which I have worked, I have been able to see that this is a constantly evolving competition that improves and grows exponentially year after year and it is becoming a full member of the fashion show world. The one of 2019 was of the highest level, an impeccable organization among dancers, special guest singers and a jury composed of numerous V.I.P.
WHAT DO YOU SEE IN YOUR FUTURE?
One of my future goals is to open a school of make up to be able to convey to others the passion and enthusiasm that this work gives me and maybe one day be able to do the make up during important events like this around the world.
BUT LET’S MOVE ON TO THE MOST FELT QUESTION… WHICH ARE THE SECRETS FOR A PERFECT MAKE UP?
As a makeup artist I feel obliged to end this interview with some makeup tips for your girls readers, few but extremely useful points:
Primarily foundation! The foundation must be the colour of our complexion. The function of foundation is in fact to standardize our complexion, not to create a fake tan.
Not to be mistaken try a small amount of product between jaw and neck if the color is the right one.
Number 2 the lip contour: still you see around many women with dark lip contour and the inside of the lips lighter: this make up is ancient, is unsightly!
There are much more innovative techniques that play on the light-dark to make lips more voluminous and sexy, when in doubt a gloss or a matte tint do for you.
