From the heart of Malta to the European stage: Aleksandra Timofeyeva’s journey of beauty and inspiration

My name is Aleksandra Timofejeva, I’m 23, and I proudly represent Malta at Miss Europe Continental 2025. I’m a freelance model, content creator, and entrepreneur building international projects in the media industries and fintech. My mission is to empower women to believe in themselves, embrace their individuality, and create the lives they dream of.

I hold a degree in Psychology and Criminology, and I’m currently building my expertise in social media management to scale my personal brand and digital projects. This unique combination gives me a deeper understanding of confidence, self-worth, and human behavior, which I use to create content and businesses that inspire and help women grow.

Malta feels like the heart of my transformation, a place where I found balance between peace and ambition. It’s where I learned to listen to myself, trust my instincts, and build the life I want. Representing this island on an international stage is not only an honor but also my way to show the world the beauty and strength this place inspires.

I’m truly grateful to Visit Malta for supporting this journey and giving me the opportunity to share the spirit of the island that shaped who I am today.

– What is the best and most difficult, thing about your lifestyle split between different cities?

The best part is the freedom, the ability to adapt, grow, and experience the beauty of different cultures. The hardest part is staying grounded, but I’ve learned to create my own sense of ‘home’ wherever I go.

– Every city has its own style: in which one do you feel more elegant, more free, more inspired?

In Valetta, I feel peaceful and inspired by the sea. In London, I feel elegant and business-focused. In Moscow, I feel powerful, like everything is possible. But at the same time, my motivation and inspiration don’t depend on a location — they come from within me. When you know how to connect to that inner source, every place can become a space for growth and elegance.

– Every city has its own style: in which one do you feel more elegant, more free, more inspired?

I believe motivation isn’t tied to a location. It’s something I create inside myself. No matter where I am — Valetta, Riga, London, or Moscow (or anywhere else in the world) — I can always find that inner drive to move forward. The most crucial part about keeping yourself motivated is surrounding yourself with strong support and developing environments.

– How would you define yourself: citizen of the world, ambassador of beauty or free spirit?

I am strength and freedom. A free spirit, a citizen of the world, and a woman who knows her worth and uses her strength to build her own path. I even carry this meaning with me, on my neck, I have a tattoo in Russian that says ‘freedom’. It’s a reminder that I create my own life, that I’m free to dream, to act, and to achieve anything I set my mind to.

– What do you think is the secret to feeling beautiful anywhere in the world?

Confidence and self-love. My background in psychology taught me that beauty is deeply connected to how we feel about ourselves. When you truly accept yourself and own your uniqueness, you radiate beauty no matter where you are.

– What made you decide to participate in Miss Europe Continental? Has it always been a dream of yours?

Because it’s a platform to represent not just beauty, but purpose, to inspire other women, share my story, and build something bigger than myself. My projects, my blog, and my goals are all built on one mission: helping women feel strong, capable, and confident in creating their dream lives. Yes, it’s been a dream, but now it’s also my mission. In addition, it’s a community of like-minded women that I couldn’t miss a chance to be part of.

Being able to represent Malta, with the kind support of Visit Malta, adds a truly special meaning to this journey, it’s my way of sharing with the world the island’s incredible blend of creativity, warmth, and resilience. Malta isn’t just where I live; it’s where I learned to balance peace with ambition, to turn inspiration into action, and to connect deeply with culture and community.

Through my collaboration with Visit Malta, I hope to keep shining a light on the island as a destination that nurtures both creativity and purpose — a place where dreams take shape, traditions inspire progress, and freedom feels tangible in every sunset and sea breeze.

– How do you try to be a positive example for others, especially young girls?

I share my journey honestly, with all the challenges and victories, so young girls and other women can see that you can create your own path, that elegance and strength can coexist. Through my blog and my content, I combine my psychological knowledge with real-life experience, offering tools and inspiration for women to believe in themselves, grow their confidence, and achieve their goals.

– What do you dream of gaining from this experience: fame, influence or coronation?

I am aiming to have influence and make a difference, not just for myself, but to change the world in a way. Through my blog and my products, I want to help women become the best version of themselves, believe in their power, and create opportunities they never thought possible.

My long-term dream is to open an independent research charter focused on social justice systems. With my degree in psychology and criminology, I want to contribute to improving these systems through unbiased, impactful research that can create real change. That’s the legacy I want to build, a platform that empowers individuals, changes mindsets and harming behaviors, as well as, makes society better.

– Do you have a motto or phrase that inspires you every day?

‘Everything I need is already within me.’ This phrase keeps me grounded and reminds me that true power comes from self-belief.

– How would you describe the woman you are today, in three words?

Fearless. Free. Ambitious.

– Where do you see yourself in five years?

For the past ten years, I’ve built a strong foundation in modeling, gaining insights that go far beyond the runway. I now combine this experience with my background in psychology to mentor young women, guiding them to approach the industry with confidence, purpose, and authenticity

In five years, I see myself leading a global platform that helps women grow their confidence, careers, and voices, both online and offline. I’ll continue using media and entrepreneurship to empower others, creating projects that merge beauty, psychology, and purpose. I want to show women that they don’t have to choose between ambition and softness, or between success and authenticity, they can have it all
