My name is Alicja Szkłuba, I’m 20 years old and I come from Poland. From a very young age, I have been passionate about fashion, photography, and art, so becoming a model felt like a natural path for me.
When did you start your modeling career?
I started my modeling journey around six years ago. At first, I took part in local photo sessions and smaller contests, which gradually led to more professional opportunities. Each new experience helped me grow, gain confidence, and better understand the industry.
In your opinion, what are the essential criteria to be a model?
I believe the most important qualities are determination, consistency, and self-confidence. Of course, appearance matters, but personality, professionalism, and genuine passion are equally essential. Modeling is not just about posing — it’s about expressing emotions and collaborating creatively with others.
From your instagram content it seems that you have a lot of self-confidence, are you always comfortable in front of the camera?
It wasn’t always easy at the beginning, but with time I gained experience and confidence. Now I feel completely comfortable in front of the camera and truly enjoy it. Every photoshoot is an opportunity for me to express a different side of myself.
Do you have other passions besides modeling?
Yes, my other passion is acting. I love stepping into different roles and exploring emotions that we don’t always show in everyday life. Acting gives me great satisfaction and helps me develop creativity, which also translates into my work as a model.
How do you feel about the idea of participating in Miss Europe Continental?
I think it’s an incredible opportunity for personal growth and expanding one’s horizons. Miss Europe Continental combines beauty, culture, and ambition — values that are very close to my heart. It’s also a wonderful chance to meet inspiring people from different countries and share experiences.
What advice would you give to other candidates?
The most important thing is to believe in yourself and follow your own path. Be authentic, work hard, and don’t compare yourself to others. Success in modeling takes time, but persistence and a positive mindset always pay off.
Tell us about your future projects.
In the near future, I plan to continue developing both my modeling and acting careers. I would love to work on international projects and gain more experience abroad. My main goal is to keep growing — both professionally and personally.
